SOCKETS ON THE BACK OF THE PIANO
THREE PEDAL INTERFACE
Three pedals
Traditional grand pianos have three pedals for added control, and this
electronic piano is manufactured to have those same pedals. It has a damper
pedal, a sostenuto pedal, and a soft pedal.Step on the pedal to engage the
desired effect; release the pedal to end the effect.
Please connect the pedal cord to the pedal connector at the bottom of the piano.
Damper pedal
(Right) After depressing the damper pedal, notes will be sustained; after
releasing, the sustain effect ends immediately.
Sostenuto pedal
(Middle) Notes that are already being played when the sostenuto pedal is
depressed will be sustained, but other notes played while the pedal is
depressed will not be sustained. This can lengthen a chord or single bass note
while playing other sounds in a staccato fashion.
Soft pedal
(Left) Depress the soft pedal to reduce the volume of the notes that you are
playing. The timbre of the notes changes. The notes played before depressing
the pedal are not affected.
Before depressing the pedals, be sure that you have installed the pedal
support screw and it is fully grounded.
