To Charge/Recharge

  1. Be certain Clipper is OFF.
  2. Connect the trimmer to the cable and then plug to the mains.
  3. It will take approximately 8-10 hours to fully charge the Clipper. Do not exceed the set time of charging!
  4. After charging, unplug the cable from the mains first and only then unplug the connector from the appliance.

Optimize the working life of the battery

  • Do not charge for more than 10 hours.
  • Do not keep cord permanently plugged in.
  • Discharge / run down the battery completely twice a year by letting the motor run until it stops. Let the battery charge fully afterwards.

Assembly

  • First select the attachment you want to use for cutting purposes. You have 4 different cutting attachments with different uses to choose from. All these cutting attachments (B1, B2, B3, B4) are put on the appliance in the same manner. Follow instructions on pic. 2.
  • Cutting attachments B1 and B2 can be used with comb attachments with various length of cutting. All these comb attachments C are put on in the same manner (follow the instructions on pic. 3 and 4). When removing the comb attachment, proceed reversely (pic. 3 and 4).
Use
  • Hair clipping

    • The trimmer can be operated from the outlet with the adaptor connected or only from
      the charged battery.

    • The trimmer turns on and off with a switch A1 and A3. Turn the trimmer on only after all the attachments have been properly placed and you are ready for trimming. Turn the trimmer off immediately after use.

  • Clipping with hair comb attachment
You may use 2 kinds of comb attachments C for trimming, depending on the attachment (B1, B2) used.

1. Choose one of the two cutting attachments (B1, B2), on which you may then put on the comb attachments C arbitrarily, depending on the desired haircut length (B1=C1; B2=C2). Put this attachment on properly.
2. Put on the desired comb attachment C depending on the chosen size of the attachment. Then you can turn on the appliance.
3. Make sure that the flat part of the comb is always in full contact with the scalp to obtain an even result.
  • Contouring without the hair clipping comb attachment
1. Remove the hair comb (if it is attached). Be careful when you are clipping without comb attachment as when the clipper is turned on it will trim every hair it touches.
2. Tilt the clipper in such a way that only one edge of the trimming attachment touches the hair ends when you shape the contours around the ears.
  • Trimming facial hair
1. Mark a facial hair line with the trimmer and cut off the hairs exceeding this line from the outer perimeter
2.  If you want to achieve an even trim of facial hair, use one of the attachments B1-B2 or trim carefully the ends by small pieces over the brush in such a way that the brush moves through the hair upwards. Repeat the process in the whole facial hair area.
3. After trimming shave the parts around the beard in a usual way.
  • Trimming a mustache
Trim carefully over a brush to achieve an even cut of the mustache. If you prefer using your finger as a guide, proceed accordingly.

  • Trimming Nose Hair

1. Make sure nasal passages are clean.
2. Place nose, ear and eyebrow attachment B3 on Clipper.
3. Switch the Clipper on and insert the tip of the attachment into one nostril.
4. Slowly move the tip in and out while turning it around at the same time in order to remove unwanted hair. For best results, make sure the side of the tip is firm against skin. This will reduce the tickling effect that can occur during trimming of nose hair.
5. Turn off Clipper. Wipe attachment clean after each use.

CAUTION
Do Not insert the tip more than 5 mm into your nostril.

  • Trimming Ear Hair
1. Clean outer area of ear and ear canal. Make sure it is free of wax.
2. Nose, ear attachment B3 should be on the Clipper.
3. Switch the Clipper on and move the tip softly around the edge of ear to remove hairs extending beyond the outer ear.
4. Carefully insert the tip into outer ear canal.
5. Turn off Clipper. Wipe attachment clean after each use.

CAUTION
Do not insert the tip further than 5 mm into the ear.

  • Shaving With Micro Shaver Attachment
1. Put on the shaving attachment B4 on the appliance.
2. Use the narrow micro shaver to shave along contoured edges to remove any stubble while creating a smooth well defined beard line. Before using the micro shaver, always check it for wear and damage. If the micro shaver shows signs of wear or damage, do not use it as injury may occur. Do not use the micro shaver until it has been replaced.
3. Gently press the micro shaver onto the skin. Do not press too hard.

MAINTENANCE

Do not use rough and aggressive detergents! Wipe the trimmer surface with a wet soft cloth.

Cleaning blades (fig. 5)

  • Clean the blades with the brush attached. For thorough cleaning, the entire trimming head B can be removed. When you want to re-attach it, put the plastic projection in the rear part of the trimming head into the opening in the trimmer and re-attach the trimming head (snap it in).
  • In order to keep the trimmer in a perfect condition, you have to lubricate the list with blades using one or two drops of oil for sewing machines. Do not use hair oil, petroleum jelly or oil mixed with petrol or any other solvent because after evaporation the solid parts of the lubricant could slow down operation of the blades. Insert the trimming head to the trimmer properly, turn on the trimmer and then turn it off and wipe out the excessive oil from the blades.

Storage
Put the trimmer with the accessories back to the original package at a dry and dust free place, out of reach of children and incapacitated people.

Removing the battery
Unscrew the 7 screws as shown in Fig.5 and remove the battery.
