Safety on Magnet

  • CAUTION- Extremely Strong Magnets, please handle with care.

Notes

  • Never handle any electrical component when your hands are wet.
  • Ensure that all components (Power Adapter, Controller, Wires, etc) are properly set-up to prevent accidental damage.
  • For Indoor use ONLY.
  • For Controller operation, please refer to the instructions as per this manual.
  • Keep Controller Cool and Dry, do not expose to Direct Sunlight or Heat.
  • Pump Protection System – if pump is detected to be running dry, it will stop operating after about a minute. To restart the Pump, off the power, re-position the pump to ensure that it is submerge in the water then turn on the power.
  • Should in the unlikely event that your pump stop working, please refer to the Trouble Shooting page in this manual.
  • Please maintain your pump as per this manual.

Overview

  • VarioS 10 circulation pump features a detachable controller, high quality ceramic shaft and bearings to reduce wear and tear, and the latest variable speed flow technology for refined control, enhanced performance, energy-efficiency and safer operations.
  • Unlike the vast majority of circulation pumps which uses alternating current (AC), our VarioS 10 pump boasts several key advantages over traditional AC pumps, namely, higher energy efficiency, safer operations at a working voltage of 36V, less heat produced with every volume of water flowing and most notably, the variable speed control for adjustment of flow rate.
  • With the bespoke controller, user have full control over the flow rates by selecting 90 preset speed settings, indicated within by its built-in display panel, which also allow the user to view both the wattage and RPM of the pump in real time. A 15 or 60 minutes feed mode can also be engaged or disengaged with the push of a button.
  • In addition, a rotatable volute allows user to adjust the output orientation horizontally or vertically, making this pump very versatile in its applications.

Pump Dimensions

Installation

Connections as per below diagram.
VarioS 10 System has a built-in safety mechanism. Make sure all cables are connected (1 and 2) , mount the controller before turning on the power (3)

Float Switch Installation

  • Auto Top-Up Function (Float Switch “TOP” marking facing downward as per factory setting):
    When the water level is lower than Float Switch in Tank B, pump will switch on automatically and fill water to the desired set level.
    Pump will stop when Tank B is filled to the desired set level.

  • Low water level cut off function (Float Switch TOP marking facing upward):
    When water level is above the Float Switch, pump will operate as per normal.
    When the water level is below the Float Switch, the pump will stop operating.

Controller Quick Start Guide

Legend

  • 1. Power supply Connection (DC36V/7.0A)

  • 2. 0-10V Input (3.5mm TRS Audio port)

  • 3. Connection to Float Switch (35135 DC Jack)

    Settings

  • 5-6 Press ( ) or ( ) to adjust desired flow rate; Press and hold button for fast adjustment. Range of adjustment: 10% – 100%

  • 7. Power ON Switch ( ) -press once to toggle unit on/off;
    When “Pause” function is activated, press once to cancel “Pause” function;
    When “Delay” mode is activated and counting down, press once to cancel counting down, and pump will start running.

  • 8. Pause function ( ) -15 mins or 60 mins options. Press once for 15 mins and twice for 60 mins, pressing Pause button continuously to toggle between 15 or 60 mins.

  • 9. Press ( ) once to activate Delay function, depress once more to cancel. Once you activate
    Delay function, it will be always ON till you deactivate this function. Pump will start after 5 mins if this function is turn ON. Factory Setting – Delay function is not activated.
    Press and hold ( ) for 3 secs to toggle the display between Watt or RPM.
    What is Delay Function?
    Delay function when activated stops the pump from restarting immediately after power is restored.

  • 10. Lights – Green, power is ON.

  • 11. Lights – Red – Power OFF/Pause Timer Countdown/Delay Timer Countdown
    Lights – Flashing – Pump Error/Float Switch Activated.

  • 12. Screen Icon: Display will go into sleep mode when inactive for 3 minutes.
    Press any button to revive.

Attention:

  1. When 0-1 0V port is use, “0-1 0V” will be displayed, flow rate cannot be adjusted by controller.
  2. Display will go into sleep mode when inactive for 3 minutes. Press any button to revive.

Dismantling and Maintenance

  • Switch off the Power Supply and remove the plug from the socket.

  • Using a Phillips Head screwdriver and unscrew the 4 screws as shown (step 1).

  • Remove the volute (step 2).

  • Using a Flat Head screwdriver and gently pry open the cover (step 3/4).

  • Rinse and wash the pump chamber and impeller.

  • Holding the Impeller upright, using your hand and turn the impeller a few rounds, if the impeller board is not seated straight, gently press it down and snap it back to the housing (step 5).

  • Insert the Impeller back to the chamber, ensure that the marking of the impeller aligns with the marking on the pump body (step 6/7).

  • Check the impeller and ensure that it is spinning freely (step 8).
    If it is not, repeat step 5.

  • Using a Phillips Head screwdriver to secure the 4 screws (step 9/10), Do not over tighten.

Trouble Shooting

Error Warning (Flashing ERROR).

Causes Solutions
Pump is running dry. Ensure pump is submerge.
Shaft is loose or not secure tightly to the Impeller. Replace the impeller

rotor.
Connection to controller or pump is loose.| Turn off the device and check all connections.
Impeller not detected.| Turn off the device, ensure impeller is install correctly and spinning freely.
Impeller is blocked.| Remove all debris and clean the impeller chamber; Ensure that impeller and its magnet is in good condition without cracks or broken.
Inconsistent power supply or connection is not connected properly.| Replace Power Adapter.
