INSTALLATION
PLEASE READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE USE TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND KEEP IT FOR FUTURE USE.
- When picking a place to install your Solar Light, CHOOSE A LOCATION WITH MAXIMUM SUN EXPOSURE DURING THE DAY.
- Avoid areas under trees or bushes as this will prevent a proper charge of the Solar Light.
- Do not install Solar Light near an existing outdoor light. The built-in sensor will prevent it from turning the solar lights on.
- When using the Solar Light in the fall and winter, please note that due to fewer daylight hours, the batteries might not charge fully. This may affect the amount of time the Solar Light will be on.
MOUNTING SOLAR LIGHT
- Remove the Mounting Plate from the back of the unit by sliding it out.
- Choose a location with maximum sun exposure. Drill holes matching the pattern on the Mounting Plate and install plastic anchors (included). Attach the Mounting Plate using 2 screws (included).
- Align the back of the solar light with the top of the Mounting Plate. Slide it into place.
USAGE
Make sure to leave the unit under direct sunlight for solar charging at least 8 hours. UNIT NEEDS TO BE FULLY CHARGED BEFORE INITIAL USE. If there isn’t ample sunlight, it may take longer for the batteries to charge.
- Once it becomes dark, you will be able to turn the Solar Light on and set your desired color.
- To turn the solar light on, press the Power button. The default color is white light.
- Press Power button again for Color Changing Mode. Unit will display 10 colors, changing from one to the next. It will remain in Color Changing Mode until you turn off the unit.
- To turn the Solar Light off, press the Power button.
- The Solar Light will turn off during the day or if unit runs out of battery.
TROUBLESHOOTING
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Make sure to regularly wipe down the solar panel with a damp cloth for best
charging results. Clean solar panel will be able to absorb more sun energy.
When storing Solar Light, remove it from the mounting plate. Make sure the
unit is turned off.
