CAUTIONS

When using electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always be

This luminaire must be installed in accordance with the NEC or your local electrical code. If you are not familiar with these codes and requirements, consult a qualified electrician.
NOTE: Surface Mounting Kits are not intended for use with emergency battery equipped versions of the flat panels.
INSTALLATION

Assemble A1/A2/B1/B2 sides of surface mount frame using (4) plastic corners. See Figure 1 for proper positioning of sides. See Figure 2 and 3 for insertion of plastic corners.

Use assembled frame as a template and mark the hole locations for the expansion anchors on the mounting surface. Use 1/4″ drywall drill bit to drill holes for the expansion anchors. Drive expansion anchors into the drywall.

Attach frame to mounting surface using (4) supplied pan head screws. See Figure 4.
NOTE: 2′ x 4′ frame uses (6) supplied pan head screws. -
Once frame has been securely attached to mounting surface, remove B2 side of frame to allow for insertion of fixture. See Figure 5.

Slide flat panel fixture partly into frame. See Figure6. Make wiring connections in fixture wiring chamber as detailed in Fixture Wiring section of installation instructions included with the fixture. Select desired CCT and wattage using the dip switches on the driver enclosure.

Once fixture wiring is complete, close fixture wiring chamber and slide fixture fully into frame. See Figure 7.

Reassemble the B2 side of the frame by sliding plastic corners on the B2 side into openings on A1 and B1 sides of frame.
