IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

INSTALLATION

Bend (4) hanging clips on fixture into a vertical position. See
Figure 1.
Locate desired fixture location on mounting surface.
NOTE: Make sure power is available at chosen location.
Mark attachment locations for aircraft cable on mounting surface.
NOTE: Spacing distances between attachment points for aircraft
cable are as follows:
- 2’x2′ fixture: 12-7/8″
- 1’x4′ fixture: 35-3/16″
- 2’x4′ fixture: 36-1/2″
Use the cable support disks as a template to mark screw locations for mounting the support disks. Three screws are used for each support disk. See Figure 2.
Use 1/4″ drywall drill bit to drill holes for expansion anchors at marked locations.
Drive supplied expansion anchors into holes. See Figure 3.
Mount (2) cable support disks at the anchor locations using (6) supplied Phillips screws. See Figure 4.
Lock cable couplers in place midway between hooks on cross cables by inserting the supplied Allen screws into the bases of the cable couplers and tightening loosely. See Figure 2.
Attach (4) retention hooks on ends of cross cables to (4) hanging clips on fixture. See Figure 5.
Fixture can be leveled by sliding cross cables to appropriate balance point. Once fixture has been leveled, tighten retention screw to lock cable coupler in place.
To raise the height of the fixture, pull the aircraft cable through the hole in the cable coupler. See Figure 6. To lower the fixture, push down on the top of the cable coupler and the aircraft cable will slide downward. Cut off any excess cable coming from the hole in the bottom of the cable coupler once the desired length is achieved. NOTE: It is recommended that at least 1″ of cable remains below bottom opening of cable coupler.
Remove screw on driver wiring chamber and remove cover. Set screw and cover aside to be reinstalled later.
Make wiring connections in fixture wiring chamber as detailed in Fixture Wiring section of installation instructions included with fixture. Select the desired CCT and wattage using the dip switches on the driver enclosure.
Reattach cover of wiring chamber with screw that was removed in Step 12 above.
