Do not touch the rotating cutting disc with any part of your body. There is a risk of injury.
-
Always use the safety hood (12) for the cutting disc.
-
Use the angle grinder stand only with an angle grinder which is equipped with a metal hood for the cutting disc.
-
Position the hood in such a way that the cutting disc is only accessible from the bottom and the hood can not touch the work piece.

Assembly Instructions
Assembly Instructions
Please follow the sketches to set up the stand. Depending on the angle
grinder, you require up to 7 open end spanners (8 mm, 2 x 10 mm, 2 x 14 mm and
possibly 2 x 17 mm), two Allen wrenches (5 mm and 6 mm) and a slot screwdriver
(approx. 5 mm).
Mount the saddle (2) with the Allen screws (4) and the washers (3) on the base
plate (1).
Mount the handle (10) with the embedded screw and the corresponding nut on the
retainer (6). Place a washer (21) between nut and retainer.
Attach the angle grinder to the retainer (6). Please notice that the angle
grinder has to be equipped with the correct cutting disc before mounting. The
cutting disc can not be changed while the angle grinder is attached to the
stand. Now check whether your angle grinder is equipped with a 10, 8 or 6 mm
treated mounting hole for the accessory handle. Find the correct retaining
screws (8) and the corresponding nuts (9). (Please follow figure B).
Stick the correct retaining screws (8) through the mounting pieces (14).
Because most angle grinders require 8 mm screws, the correct plastic inserts
for 8 mm screws are already installed. If you require a different size of
screw, remove the plastic insert and use the smaller insert for the smaller 6
mm screws or no insert for 10 mm screws. Mount the mounting pieces (14) by
clamping them with the nuts (9).
Insert the adjusting screw (13) into the lower hole and the adjusting screw
(7) into the upper hole of the retainer (6). The rubber buffers of the screws
must rest on the housing of the angle grinder after mounting (See figures A
and D). Initially, retract the rubber buffer against the retainer (6).
Now insert the plastic retainers (15) of the mounting pieces (14) into their
guides in the retainer (6) (figure B). Now mount the mounting pieces (14) and
the plastic retainers (15) with the Allen screws (5) in the slotted holes of
the retainer (6).
Use the adjusting screws (7) and (13) to adjust the angle grinder in a right
angle to the base plate (1) and mounted without slack on the retainer.
Adjust the saddle (2) after loosening the Allen screws (4) in such a way that
the cutting disc exactly dives into the slot in the base plate (1).
Now mount the safety hood (12). Attach the hood (12) to the metal rod (11) and
secure it with the nuts (29). Then, insert the metal rod into the
corresponding hole in the retainer (6) (figure C) and secure it with the nut
(28) and the screw (27).
After mounting, turn on the angle grinder and allow it to run for several seconds. After that, pull the power plug of the angle grinder and check all screws for tightness.
Operation
- Place the work piece on the base plate against the rear stop (24) and secure it with the jaw (23). Make sure the work piece sits solidly on the base plate. Adjust both jaws in such a way that the work piece lies in the middle of the cutting disc.
- Now turn on the angle grinder and bring the cutting disc down onto the work piece.
- Avoid sharp impacts and apply even force on the work piece.
Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing
- Clean the unit from time to time with a dry paint-brush or a brush in order to remove residues.
- Do not clean the unit with aggressive detergents or aggressive chemicals.
- The unit is maintenance-free and does not require any lubrication.
