USE
NOTE:
- Never put ice in the coffee press and do not use metal utensils, this can damage the coffee press.
Always rinse the pot with hot water before use. Add a little washing-up liquid
and allow to stand for a few minutes. Put the lid on and carefully shake the
pot. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
COFFEE BREWING
- Put the coffee press on a dry, level, and non-slip surface.
- Hold the handle firmly and pull the plunger straight up, out of the pot.
- Put a tablespoonful of coarse ground coffee in the pot for each cup of water (1.8 dl).
- Boil up the water and allow to stand for about 30 seconds. The recommended temperature of the water is about 98°C.
- Slowly pour the water into the pot. The water should completely cover the ground coffee. Do not fill to more than 2.5 cm below the rim of the pot.
- Stir with a plastic spoon.
- Pull up the plunger handle as far as it goes and put the plunger in the pot.
- Allow standing for about 4 minutes before pressing down the plunger. It should take about 30 seconds to push the plunger completely down. If it is difficult to press down the plunger this can be because the filter is clogged. Pull up the plunger and rinse under hot running water to clear.
- Stir the beverage, put in the plunger, and slowly press down. The ground coffee is pushed down to the bottom of the pot and the coffee over the filter is ready to serve.
- Serve freshly brewed coffee for the best taste.
TEA BREWING
- Put the coffee press on a dry, level, and non-slip surface.
- Hold the handle firmly and pull the plunger straight up, out of the pot.
- Put a suitable amount of tea leaves in the pot.

- Slowly pour the water into the pot. The water should completely cover the tea leaves. Do not fill to more than 2.5 cm below the rim of the pot.
- Pull up the plunger handle as far as it goes and put the plunger in the pot.
