HOMELEGANCE 4522-15 Corner Desk

Product Information

• The product is a desk or corner desk with a drawer that can be removed and reinstalled. The desk is made in Malaysia and comes in two variants: Item No 4522-15 and Item No 4522WH-15. The corner desk variant is Item No 4522-17 or Item No 4522WH-17.
• The package includes wooden parts, hardware, and assembly instructions.
• The desk has a top, side panel frames, a crossbar, and a drawer.
• The corner desk has a corner top, four legs, and four stretchers.
• The drawer can be removed by pulling up the lock on the left side of the drawer box and pushing down the lock on the right side of the drawer box at the same time until the slide drawer members disengage from cabinet members. The drawer can be reinstalled by inserting it by pulling the track on the left and right cabinet members all the way forward, aligning tracks on the drawer with sliders, and pushing in the drawer until there is an audible click sound. Check for proper alignment by inspecting drawer front margins for spacing and squareness. Open and close slowly several times to ensure proper installment.
• When assembling, place all wooden parts on a clean and smooth surface such as a rug or carpet to avoid scratches. Check to be sure that you have all parts and hardware. Remove all wrapping materials, including staples and packing straps before starting to assemble. Do not tighten all screws/bolts until completely assembled. Keep all hardware parts out of reach of children.

Product Usage Instructions

Desk Assembly

• Step 1: Remove the drawer from the top.
• Step 2 : Assemble the desk by attaching the side panel frames to the top using eight JCBB bolts (A), eight spring washers (B), and eight flat washers (C) using an Allen key (D). Do not tighten all screws/bolts until completely assembled.
• Step 3: Attach the crossbar to the side panel frames using two CSK screws (E) on each side.
• Step 4: Re-assemble the drawer to the desk by attaching the drawer handle from the inside to the outside position. Follow the steps to reinstall the drawer.

Corner Desk Assembly

Step 1 : Assemble the corner desk by attaching the four legs to the corner top using sixteen JCBB bolts (A), sixteen spring washers (B), and sixteen flat washers (C) using an Allen key (D). Do not tighten all screws/bolts until completely assembled.
Step 2: Attach the four stretchers to the legs using eight CSK screws (E) on each side.

• Remove all wrapping materials, including staples & packing straps before you start to assemble.

Description; DESK

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR DRAWER REMOVAL AND REINSTALL FOR CASE GOODS

TO REMOVE THE DRAWER:

• STEP1: EXTEND THE BOX DRAWER TO ITS FULL EXTENSION.
• STEP2: LOCATE THE DRAWER SLIDE LOCK ON EACH SIDE OF THE DRAWER BOX.
• STEP 3: REMOVE THE DRAWER.

TO REINSTALL THE DRAWER :

• MAKE SURE THE DRAWER WILL BE RE-INSTALL TO ITS ORIGINAL POSITION.
• STEP 1: INSERT DRAWER BY PULLING TRACK ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT CABINET MEMBERS
• ALL THE WAY FORWARD (INCLUDING THE BALL BEARING RACK)
• STEP 2: ALIGN TRACKS ON THE DRAWER WITH SLIDERS AND PUSH IN THE DRAWER
• UNTIL THERE IS AN AUDIBLE “CLICK” SOUND.
• STEP 3: CHECK FOR PROPER ALIGNMENT BY INSPECTING THE DRAWER FRONT MARGINS
• FOR SPACING AND SQUARENESS. OPEN AND CLOSE SLOWLY SEVERAL TIMES TO ENSURE THE PROPER INSTALLMENT. IF THERE IS ANY UNEVENNESS, PLEASE REPEAT THE STEP OF REMOVAL AND REINSTALL THE DRAWER.

TO REMOVE THE DRAWER:

• THE LOCK ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE DRAWER BOX IN THE SAME TIME AND PULL DRAWER STRAIGHT OUT UNTIL SLIDE DRAWER MEMBERS DISENGAGE FROM CABINET MEMBERS.
• STEP 3: REMOVE THE DRAWER.

TO REINSTALL THE DRAWER:

• MAKE SURE THE DRAWER WILL BE RE-INSTALL TO ITS ORIGINAL POSITION.
