Reinstall the motor head back onto the vacuum’s body and secure into place using the side hasps.
Warning: DO NOT use this machine for wet suction while filter dust bag and HEPA filter are in place.
Debris will come in contact with the motor directly, and can cause damage. Make sure the tank contains no water when it is used for dust suction.
Operation
- Connect hose (D) into the air inlet of the vacuum, push until hose snaps into place.
- Connect relevant cleaning accessories and extension wands (E) if required, to the end of the hose.
- Insert power plug into wall receptacle.
- Press power switch on.
Note: Empty tank and clean thoroughly after each use. This vacuum contains a float valve which protects the motor from water when the tank is full. When the dirty water reaches its maximum capacity, the float valve will interrupt the water suction, and the machine will make exceptional noise. Stop the machine immediately and empty the tank.
After use or when the tank is full, press the switch button off to stop the machine, and pull the power cord plug from the outlet. Discharge the suction hose from suction hole, if it is necessary, also discharge the squeegee. Move the machine to an appropriate draining location and empty dirty water using the drain hose (tilt tank if needed). Clean thoroughly after each use.
Maintenance
Warning: Disconnect the power before any maintenance
Periodically:
- Lift the motor head and check whether the filter absorbed water from excess foam. If the filter contains water, remove and check to see if the motor head area contains water as well. If this occurs, leave unit open until motor head is completely dry, at which point it is acceptable to reuse. If needed, allow motor head to sit upright in a ventilated area for 24 hours to dry.
- Check condition of HEPA filter and replace if needed. For replacement HEPA filters (model 713169) contact Global Industrial Customer Service at 1-800-645-2986 or visit www.globalindustrial.com.
- Clean tank and all accessories thoroughly with a wet cloth.
- Clean the float valve, make sure it can travel up and down freely and is not restricted.
- Clean motor head with damp cloth, DO NOT allow water to touch the motor directly.
- Remove the filter dust bag, empty and reattach.
