IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION Instructions
IMPORTANT – READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
It is important that any person intending to use this stroller understands the
instructions.
– This product conforms and has been certified to standard EN 1888-2:2018.
– This pushchair is suitable for use with children from birth up to 22 kg or 4
years (whichever the child reaches first).
– For children over 6 months and up to 15Kg, the backrest inclination can only
be upright or lying down, never in intermediate positions.
– For children over 15 kg, the seat can only be used in forward-facing
position. In this case, the backrest inclination can only be upright or lying
down, never in intermediate positions.
– The most reclined position is recommended from birth up to 6 months.
– This pushchair has been designed to carry one child at a time, do not use it
to carry more than one child.
– Do not exceed the maximum weight indicated on the basket (4 kg).
WARNING!
– Never leave the child unattended.
– Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.
– To avoid injury ensure that the child is kept away when unfolding and
folding this product.
– Do not let the child play with this product.
– Always use the restraint system.
– Check that the fastening devices for the hood, the seat or the car seat are
correctly engaged before using the product.
– This product is not suitable for running or skating.
CAUTION
– Never let the child stand up on the footrest or the footboard.
– Never lift/carry the chassis while occupied. Your child’s safety may be at
risk.
– Do not use the vehicle on steps, stairs or escala tors; as it may be
dangerous to your child.
– Always descend/mount kerbs on the back wheels, do not tip the stroller
forward.
– Always put the brake on when getting children in or out of the pushchair.
– Never leave the stroller without first engaging the parking device. Avoid
uphill or downhill parking.
– Any load attached to the handlebar and/or back of the backrest and/or the
sides of the pushchair will affect its stability.
– Do not use accessories that have not been approved by JANÉ.
– Only use replacement parts supplied or recommended by JANÉ.
– For baby carriers used with a chassis, this pushchair is not a substitute
for a cot or a bed. If the child needs to sleep, you should put him in a
suitable carrycot, cot or bed.
– For safety reasons, do not use on slopes with more than a 12º grade, as
steeper slopes could compromise the pushchair’s stability.
MAINTENANCE
– Do not expose the cover to sunlight for long periods.
– Wash the plastic parts with warm water and soap and carefully dry all the
components after.
– The upholstery can be taken off for washing. (Always check the care label
for the washing instructions).
– Regularly check the brakes, harnesses and fastening elements that may suffer
wear and tear through use.
– For your safety and the good conservation of this product, it is important
to bring it to one of our official workshops for regular inspections.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE GUARANTEE
– This item is guaranteed against manufacturing defects as stipulated in the
legal Directives and/or regulations in force on guarantees for consumer goods
applicable to the European Union and those of the country in which it is
marketed.
– It is essential to present the purchase invoice or receipt in order to
process the guarantee through the seller of the item or, failing that, through
the manufacturer.
– The guarantee excludes anomalies or faults caused by misuse, non-compliance
with the safety regulations and instructions for use and maintenance provided,
or due to wear and tear caused by normal use and regular handling of the item.
– The label containing the serial number of your model must not be torn off
under any circumstances as it contains information relevant to the guarantee.

WASTE SEPARATION
– To help protect the environment, we kindly ask you to separate the packaging waste from your JANÉ pushchair/ buggy and at the end of its useful life to separate the components and dispose it properly.
