SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Read these instructions— All the safety and operating instructions should be read before this product is operated.
- Keep these instructions. The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.
- Heed all warnings. All warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.
- Do not use this apparatus near water. The device should not be used near water or moisture— for example, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool, and the like.
- Clean only with a dry cloth.
- Do not block any ventilation openings.
- Do not operate or place near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at the plugs, power outlets, and at the point where they exit from the apparatus.
- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

INSTALLING THE REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY
- When installing for the first time, remove the battery insulation film.
- Push in the holder release and then pull out the battery holder. See Fig. 1.
- Place a new CR2025 battery in the battery holder per the +/- markings displayed on the back of the remote. See Fig. 2.
- Push the battery holder into the remote. See Fig. 3.
Notes and Warnings
WARNING: Choking/Poisoning Hazard. Keep batteries away from children.
Swallowed batteries can cause severe injury or death.
Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is swallowed, or placed in a
nose or ear. National Battery Ingestion Hotline: 1-800-498-8666.
- Use only the specified type of battery.
- Follow the correct polarity when installing the battery as indicated in the battery compartment.
- Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline and Carbon-zinc) or old batteries with new ones.
- To prevent damage or injury from possible leakage, remove batteries if they have been drained or if the device will be unused for extended periods.
- Do not try to recharge a battery that is intended to be recharged; it can overheat and rupture. (Follow the battery manufacturer’s instructions).
- Do not expose batteries to excessive heat, such as direct sunlight or open flames.
- Clean the battery and device contacts prior to battery installation.
- If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
Notes
- When there is an obstacle between the transmitter and the unit, the unit may not operate.
- The remote control operation is unstable in strong light conditions, such as from direct sunlight, incandescent lamp, or fluorescent lamps. Aim the remote control at the remote sensor of the soundbar with an angle of 30° to the sides and a distance of 5 meters maximum.
PLACEMENT & MOUNTING
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Aminimum of 2 inches of ventilation clearance is required when placing the Soundbar on an entertainment center, bookshelf, or any type of enclosed space.
CAUTION: Inadequate ventilation clearance can cause a heat hazard.
Wall-Mounting the Sound Bar
IMPORTANT: Wall-mounting should only be performed by a skilled
professional.
CAUTION: Improper mounting can result in damage or personal injury.

Bracket Dimensions
Mounting to a Wooden Wall
- Mark the position of the mounting screws on the wall using a pencil.
- Use an electric drill with an appropriate drill bit to drill the pilot holes.
- Secure the screws into the pilot holes, making sure that the screws extend outward approximately 0.3 inches to support the sound bar.
- Place the sound bar onto the mounting screws. Make sure they are firm and stable.
Mounting to a Brick Wall
- Mark the position of the mounting screws on the wall using a pencil.
- Use an electric drill with an appropriate drill bit to drill the pilot holes.
- Use a hammer to insert the screw anchors into the pilot holes.
- Secure the screws into the screw anchors, making sure that the screws extend outward approximately 0.3 inches to support the sound bar.
- Put the sound bar onto the mounting screws. Make sure they are firm and stable.
OPERATING MODES
General Operation

Connect the AC/DC adapter to the unit and wall outlet.
-
Long press Standby/Source button on the soundbar to turn on/off the soundbar, long press standby button on the subwoofer to turn on/off the subwoofer.

Press the Standby/Source button on the unit repeatedly to switch to the desired mode.

Operating the Device:
♦ Toplay atrack, press
Press again to pause the track.
♦ Toselect the next track, press ppf
♦ To select the previous track, press ****
♦ Press the VOL- / VOL+ buttons on the unit or Remote Control to adjust the volume level as desired.
♦ Press the mute button on the Remote Control to mute the sound on the soundbar. Press again to resume.
♦ When finished listening, press the Standby Source button to enter standby mode. If the unit is not used for long periods, please disconnect the power. -
Press the button on remote control or press the Standby/Source button on the Sound Bar repeatedly to switch to the desired mode. Or press the BT, LINE IN, AUX, OPTICAL,HDMI, FM button on remote control to turn to desired mode directly, the Indicator on front of the Sound Bar will turn to:
Blue…………………………… Bluetooth Mode
Light Green………………… LINE IN Mode
Indigo (blue+green+purple)………. AUX IN Mode

Connect the Subwoofer to the Soundbar
- Power ON the unit.
- Long press standby button on the subwoofer to turn on the Subwoofer.
- Quick press Play/Pause button twice on the unit, and quick press the Standby button twice on the subwoofer.
- After successful connection, the indicator on the Subwoofer will turn solid blue.
Notes:
If you want to disconnect the subwoofer rom the soundbar, you can press the
standby button on the subwoofer, if you want to pair the subwoofer with the
Soundbar again, press the stand button again on the subwoofer.
Connect a Bluetooth Device
- Power ON the unit.
- Press the Standby/Source button on the unit repeatedly, or press the BT button on the Remote Control to switch to Bluetooth mode.
- Power on the external Bluetooth enabled device and enter Bluetooth mode to search the pairing name of the unit.
- When EMERSON EHS-2050 appears, select it to make the connection.
- Operating the Device:
♦ To play a track, press .
Press again to pause the track.
♦ To select the next track, press .
♦ To select the previous track, press .
Note: After a first time connection, the unit will automatically connect
with the last connected device if it’s Bluetooth function is activated and in
working range.
To pair another Bluetooth Device, disconnect the current paired device by long
pressing Play/Pause button on the front panel or on the Remote Control. The
unit now can now be discovered by other Bluetooth devices.
RCA In (Line In) Operation
Through the unit you can listen the sound from a connected external
audio/video device (such as TV, CD/DVD player).

Plug one end of the RCA Cable into the RCA in jack.
-
Plug the other end of the RCA Cable into the RCA Out jack (L&R) on the external device.

Power on the unit as previously explained.
Press Standby/Source button on the unit repeatedly, or press Line
In button on Remote Control to switch to the RCA IN mode. -
Power on the connected external device and start playback as usual.
Note: Special attention should be paid to matching the color (red to red,
white to white) when inserting the plugs of the RCA cable into the
corresponding jacks on the unit and external A/V device.
Listening to Auxiliary Source
- Connect your auxiliary source (e.g. iPod/iPad/MP3 player) to the 3.5 mm AUX IN jack.
- Press the Standby/Source button repeatedly on the unit, or press AUX button on the Remote Control to switch to Auxiliary mode.
- Start playback from your auxiliary source.
- Adjust the volume to the desired level.
- To stop playback, disconnect your auxiliary source from the INPUT jacks.
Optical-In Operation
Listen to music from the Optical Out port of an equipped video player or
television.
- Before connecting, disconnect power.
- Connect one end of the optical connection cable (not supplied) to the OPTICAL IN jack on the back of the unit.
- Connect the other end to the OPTICAL OUT port on the TV Back panel.
- Power on the unit.
- Press the Standby/Source button on the unit repeatedly, or press Optical button on the Remote Control to switch to the OPTICAL-IN mode.
- Turnon the TV or DVD player and start playing it.
Note: If there is no audio output (only picture) or noise when your TV or
DVD player is connected to the unit, please check DVD player or TV audio
setting and set the Digital Audio Output to “PCM” format.
HDMI IN ARC Operation
The TV with HDMI IN ARC port can be connected to this unit, and you can listen to the sound from it though the unit’s speakers.
- Before connecting, make sure the devices are turned off.
- Plug one end of an HDMI Cable (user supply) into the HDMI IN ARC jack.
- Plug the other end of the HDMI Cable into the HDMI IN ARC jack on TV.
- Power on the unit as previously explained.
- Press Standby/Source button on the unit repeatedly, or press ARC button on Remote Control repeatedly to switch to the HDMI IN mode.
- Power on the connected TV and start playback as usual.
Notes:
- The TV must have ARC capability and be connected to HDMI IN ARC jack on the capable TV.
- If there is no audio output (only picture) or noise when your TV is connected to the unit, please check TV audio setting, and set the Digital Audio Output to “PCM” format.
FM Operation
- Power ON the unit.
- Press Standby/Source button on the unit repeatedly or press FM button on Remote Control to switch to FM mode.
- Long press the FM button on the remote control to search available FM stations.
- Press and hold TUN+ on remote control to auto-tune to a higher station.
- Press and hold TUN- on remote control to auto-tune to a lower station.
- Press TUN+ on remote control to turn to a higher frequency.
- Press TUN- on remote control to turn to a lower frequency.
Automatic Station Scan
- Use the station scan feature to find stations within broadcast reception range and save them to preset memory.
- Under FM Mode, long press Play/Pause button on the unit, the sound bar will search for and store stations automatically.
- Short press Play/Pause button on the unit to listen to the stored preset station.
Note: To enhance radio reception ability, fully unwind the antenna wire.
Extend the antenna wire and place it in the position that sounds best.

the external BT device close to the unit
Have not paired| Pair the unit with the BT device as the procedures stated in
this manual.

- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.

To maintain compliance with FCC’s RF Exposure guidelines, This equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance between 20cm the radiator your body: Use only the supplied antenna.
