SAFETY NOTES

Please note the included General Safety Notes and the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:

  • Please read this manual carefully and use the device only according to this manual.
  • Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of the reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!
  • Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to use the device, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a qualified person.
  • Keep the lamp out of reach of children. The lamp is not a toy.
  • Do not stare directly into the LEDs and do not direct the light beam towards people or animals.
  • Do not use devices which can strongly focus light for viewing the light beam.
  • If you do not plan to use the lamp for some time, remove the batteries.
  • Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Do not mix rechargeable batteries and non-rechargeable batteries and use only batteries of the same type.
  • Notice: UV radiation is emitted from this product.
  • Should the unit become damaged do not use it any further and have it repaired by a professional or contact our customer service. Do not disassemble the unit or try repairing it yourself.

Operation

Intended
Use With these spotlights you can illuminate indoor and outdoor areas where no mains electricity is available. The spotlights are equipped with motion detectors and when one of the motion detectors is triggered, the other spotlights are also triggered via radio. More spotlights can be added without further measures.

Installation and commissioning

  • The spotlights are suitable for outdoor use (IP44) and have a maximum wireless range of 12 meters. Mount additional spotlights that are to be triggered additionally within this range.
  • There are three mounting holes in the base of the spotlight. Loosen the knobs on the base of the spotlight and pull the spotlight off the base so you can access the appropriate mounting screw. Install the base, plug the spotlight back in and retighten the knob.

Operation
The spotlights are only triggered when it is dark and then shine for 20 seconds. If one of the spotlights is in an illuminated area, it will not trigger.

Changing the Batteries
If the spotlights do not behave as usual, change the batteries. Loosen the bayonet lock on the front part of the spotlight by turning it counter clockwise. Pull off the front part, there are two locking tabs on the side of the battery compartment. Press it in with a suitable object and pull off the battery compartment cap. Replace the four LR20 (D) (Mono) batteries with fresh ones of the same type. Close the battery compartment again. The tabs must audibly click into place. Put the front piece back on and lock it by turning it clockwise.

Cleaning

  • Clean the spotlights with a slightly damp cloth. If necessary, use some washing-up liquid as well. Do not immerse the device in liquids.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives to avoid damaging the surfaces.
