BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Read these instructions completely and carefully.

WARNING

  • Risk of fire or electric shock. Installation requires knowledge of luminaire electrical systems. If not qualified, do not attempt installation. Minimum 90°C conductors, if uncertain contact a qualified electrician.
  • These products are suitable for use in wet locations.
  • IC rated for direct contact with insulation.

PREPARE ELECTRICAL WIRING

Electrical Requirements
The LED fixture must be supplied with 120Vac 60Hz.

Grounding Instructions
The grounding and bonding of the overall system shall be done in accordance with National Electric Code (NEC) and local codes.

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:(1) This device may not cause harmful interference; (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

TOOLS REQUIRED

Note: Reference the guide included with the Installation Mounting Template if using for installation. Installation mounting template sold separately. Not necessary for installation.

INSTALLATION

  1. Turn off power source to the power supply where you are installing the fixture.

  2. For a hole size of 6-1/4 inch, Use the hole template to trace the hole size. Cut the hole using a drywall saw or hole saw.GE Lighting CAN06DW100R9RTWTNRO Remote Control Wafer Light 3

  3. Option A:Remove the knockout with a screwdriver and use the strain relief to fish the wires into the J-Box.
    Option B:use the wire clamps to fish the wires into the J-Box.

  4. Connect the wires into quick connector:

    • Black to black
    • White to white
    • Green to green or bare copper wire

  5. Place the junction box on the ceiling through the hole. Connect the light with junction box with the connector.

  6. Hold the spring clips against the fixture and gently guide into the ceiling until the clips snap into place.

TRIM INSTALLATION

Before trim installation, ensure the wafer is powered off.
Push the trim into the wafer, ensure all clips on the trim are fixed to the light.

Note:
Compatible trim accessory:

INSTALLATION – REMOTE CONTROLLER

This remote controller can be mounted to the wall in two ways, by screws or adhesive tape. Once you determine which install method is best for you, select one of the following setup methods.
Note: The wall faceplate is not designed for installation over an outlet box.

Option A: Mounting with screws

  • Mark the appropriate two keyhole locations. Drill two holes 3.28’’ apart using 15/64” size drill bit. Insert drywall anchors.
  • Screw on the faceplate bracket, then snap the faceplate cover onto the bracket. Then place the remote controller into the groove of the faceplate.

Option B: Mounting with adhesive tape

  • Ensure the installation surface is clean and dry
  • This product is not suitable for textured, porous, wallpaper or brick wall surface.

  • Apply adhesive tape to the groove of the faceplate bracket’s back . Then mount the bracket to the wall.
  • Snap the faceplate cover onto the bracket. Then place the remote controller into the groove of the faceplate.

USING THE REMOTE CONTROLLER

NOTE: Pull out the plastic card from the battery compartment before using your remote controller.

9LED Indicator

On/off button, turn on or turn off the light

Dim down button, use it to decrease the brightness

Dim up button, use it to increase the brightness

CCT Button, use these to select different CCT
Long Press: Cycle through CCT sequence.

Color Button, use these to select different colors
Long Press: Cycle through Color sequence.

User guide:

  • Turn on light(s) in 30 second, long press and for 5 seconds; the light will flash twice until the controller and lights pair together.
    Then you can use your controller control to the lights.
    Note: To pair other devices, repeat the process.

  • To remove the fixture from the remote: Turn on the light(s) and wait 30 seconds: Long press and for 5 seconds until the light flashes twice. This will remove the device.

  • Low battery: When the LED indicator light is red, change the battery.

  • Factory reset: Long press and for 5 seconds until the indicator flashes green.

Remove the back cover of remote using the screwdriver to change the CR2032 battery.

WARNING : Chemical Burn Hazard- Do not ingest or swallow coin cell battery. This remote control contains a coin cell battery. If the coin cell battery is swallowed or ingested, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death. Keep new and used coin cell batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the remote control and keep away from children. If you think coin cell batteries have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
