- Wait at least 30 seconds between readings to ensure accuracy.
- Keep young children in the same environment for a few minutes before taking their temperature as their bodies react slowly to environment changes.
- For the most accurate reading on children 3 and under, it is recommended to take three (3) temperature readings and use the highest measurement.
- Batteries may leak harmful liquids or ignitable materials which can result in an explosion that causes injury or damage to the product.
- Do not mix old, new, or other types of batteries together.

The Truvitals Smart Non Touch 2-in-1 Thermometer with Bluetooth® is a battery- operated electronic device with intended use of measuring body temperature through touchless contact by means of an infrared sensor coupled with electronic signal amplification, conditioning, and a digital LED display. The device is reusable and intended for home use on people at all ages.

Operation Instructions
Body Mode Temperature Readings
- Power on the thermometer by pressing the measure button.
- Check that the body mode indicator is lit on the screen to the thermometer is in body mode.
- Hold the thermometer 1-2 in.(3-5 cm) from the forehead and press the measure button.
Hold the thermometer 1-2 in.(3-5 cm) from the forehead and press the measure button. Hold the thermometer still during reading. A beep will indicate that the measurement is complete unless the device is in mute mode.
Once a temperature is taken, the temperature will display for five (5)
seconds. After the temperature has finished displaying, the thermometer will
revert to standby mode indicated by three (3) dashes on the LED screen. Simply
press the measure button again to take a new temperature. To power off the
thermometer, press and hold the measure button for five (5) seconds while the
device is in standby mode or wait 15 seconds for the auto shutoff feature to
power off the thermometer. NOTES
Environment changes can affect the accuracy of temperature readings. Before
use, allow the thermometer to remain in one location without significant air
temperature changes for 30 minutes. Wait at least 30 minutes after strenuous
exercise before taking a temperature reading. Do not wear a hat and make sure
there is no hair, sweat, or makeup on your forehead while taking temperature
readings. To avoid human error, take multiple measurements and use the average
temperature.
Fever Alerts
If a temperature reading is above the normal range, the thermometer will give you a fever alert. The table below outlines how the thermometer indicates fever alerts.

Memory Feature

This thermometer automatically stores the last 32 body temperature measurements.

Before displaying the measurement, a number will display between 1 and 32 to indicate which
you are viewing. -

Switching Between Fahrenheit and Celsius
This thermometer can display temperatures in either degrees Fahrenheit (°F) or degrees Celsius (°C). To switch the unit of temperature displayed, simply press the °C/°F button while in standby mode.
Mute Feature
To mute the thermometer, hold the memory/mute button for two to three (2 – 3) seconds. This will silence all alerts from the thermometer. To unmute the thermometer, simply repeat the process. An audio alert will indicate that the thermometer is unmuted.
NOTE
When the thermometer is powered on, it will remain in the last used setting.
Surface Mode
Temperature Readings
- With the thermometer powered off, press and hold the measure and memory buttons at the same time for three (3) seconds. Check that the surface mode indicator is lit on the screen to confirm the thermometer is in surface mode.
- Hold the thermometer 1-2 in. (3-5 cm) from the surface you wish to measure and press the measure button.
- Hold the thermometer still during reading. A beep willindicate that the measurement is complete unless the device is in mute mode.
- Once a temperature is taken, the temperature will display for five (5) seconds. After the temperature has finished displaying, the thermometer will revert to standby mode indicated by three (3) dashes on the LED screen. Simply press the measure button again to take a new temperature.
- To power off the thermometer, hold the measure button for five (5) seconds or wait 15 seconds for the auto shut off feature to power off the thermometer.
NOTE
The thermometer will automatically default back to body mode each time it
powers off.
Using the Truvitals App
This thermometer is compatible with devices running iOS 8.0 and above or Android 4.3 and above. Keep the thermometer within at least 10 feet of your device to get the best result in establishing and maintaining a proper connection.
- Open the settings in your smartphone or other smart device and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
- Download the Truvitals App from the App Store or Google Play.
- Open the Truvitals App and create a new account if you are using this app for the first time.
- Press the measure button on the thermometer to power it on.
- Once the app is open and device is on, the app and thermometer should automatically pair together.
- The Bluetooth symbol in the app should turn green when pairing is complete.
- If the app and thermometer don’t automatically pair together, go to your Bluetooth list in your phone settings and select the thermometer.
- Once pairing is established, a message saying Thermometer connected will appear in the app.
Maintenance & Cleaning
Battery Replacement
When the batteries need to be replaced, a low battery icon will display on the screen. To change the batteries, follow the steps below.
- Slide the battery cover down to open the battery compartment.
- Remove the old batteries and dispose of them properly.
- Insert two (2) new batterie aligning them with the polarities.
- Slide the battery cover back into place before powering on the thermometer.
NOTE
Remove the batteries if the thermometer will not be in use for more than three
(3) months.
Cleaning
To clean the thermometer, wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. If the thermometer is contaminated, use a cloth moistened with water and a mild detergent or clean it with 75% alcohol. Take care not to use an excessive amount of liquid when cleaning the thermometer as liquids can seep into the electronic parts and cause damage to the thermometer.
Storage
Store in a safe, dry place free from dust and direct sunlight. Keep this
thermometer out of reach of children. If you are storing the thermometer for
more than three (3)
months, remove the batteries and keep the thermometer in the original
packaging.

This Truvitals Smart Non-Touch 2 in 1 Thermometer with Bluetooth Product ,
including any accessories included in the original packaging, as supplied and
distributed new by an authorized retailer is warranted by C&A Marketing, Inc.
the Company to the original consumer purchaser only, against certain defects
in material and workmanship Warranty as follows
To receive Warranty service, the original consumer purchaser must contact the
Company orits authorized service provider for problem determination and
service procedures. Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or
receipted invoice, evidencing that the Product is within the applicable
Warranty period(s), MUST be presented to the Company or its authorized service
provider in order to obtain the requested service. Service options, parts
availability, and response times may vary and may change at any time.
In accordance with applicable law, the Company may require that you furnish
additional documents and/or comply with registration requirements before

Shipping expenses to the Company’s Return Facility
are not covered by this warranty, and must be paid by the consumer. The
consumer likewise bears all risk of loss or further damage to the Product
until delivery to said facility.
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
The Company warrants the Product against defects in materials and workmanship
under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of retail purchase
by the original end-user purchaser Warranty Period. If a hardware defect
arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, the Company,
at its sole option and to the extent permitted by law, will either (1) repair
the Product defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts,
(2) exchange the Product with a Product that is new or which has been
manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally
equivalent to the original device, or (3) refund the purchase price of the
Product. A replacement Product or part thereof shall enjoy the warranty of the
original Product for the remainder of the Warranty Period, or ninety (90) days
from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides you longer
protection. When a Product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes
your property, while the replaced item becomes the Company’s property. Refunds

hardware, or software, even if packaged or sold with the Product. Damage
caused by use with non Truvitals Smart Non-Touch 2-in-1 Thermometer with
Bluetooth products
- Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake, or other external causes;
- Damage caused by operating the Product outside the permitted or intended uses described by the Company.
- Damage caused by third party services.
- A Product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of the Company;
- Consumable parts, such as batteries, fuses, and bulbs;
- Cosmetic damage.
- If any Truvitals Smart Non-Touch 2-in-1
- Thermometer with Bluetooth serial number has been removed or defaced.
- This Warranty is valid only in the country where the consumer purchased the Product, and only applies to Products purchased and serviced in that country.
- The Company does not warrant that the operation of the Product will be uninterrupted or error free.
- The Company is not responsible for damage arising from your failure to follow instructions relating to its use.
