READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING

  • Only use an appliance for its intended use.
  • To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
  • Always turn the appliance OFF before plugging or unplugging the appliance from the electrical outlet. Never pull on the cord to disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet; instead, grasp

  • Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces. Let the appliance cool completely before putting the appliance away.
  • Always disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet before filling the appliance with water, emptying the water from the appliance, and when the appliance is not in use.
  • Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or in the event the appliance has been dropped or damaged. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the appliance. Take it to a qualified serviceman for examination and repair. The incorrect assembly might result in a risk of electric shock when the appliance is used after reassembly.
  • Close supervision is required for any appliance used by or near children. Do not leave the appliance unattended while the appliance is connected.
  • Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use caution when you turn an appliance upside down – there might be hot water in the reservoir.
  • To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate an appliance on the same circuit with another high wattage appliance.
  • If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a cord with an ampere rating equal to or greater than the maximum rating of the appliance shall be used. A cord rated for less amperage can result in a risk of fire or electric shock due to overheating. Care shall be taken to arrange the cord so that it cannot be pulled or be tripped over.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • The appliance must be used and rested on a stable surface;
  • When placing the appliance on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable;
  • The appliance must not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply mains.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • The appliance is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
  • Always disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet, before you leave the room.
  • To reduce the risk of contact with hot water emitting from steam vents, check the appliance before each use by holding it away from the body and operating the steam button.
  • To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plugin anyway.
  • To achieve optimal results in sanitizing, gently steam back and forth 3 times in contact with the fabrics.
