-
Do not use the appliance on wet materials.
-
Keep the handles and surfaces of the tool dry, clean and free of oil or lubricants. Slipping during operation leads to a loss of control and accidents.
-
Hold the tool firmly. A sudden stop of the drive transfers the kinetic energy to the tool itself. This may cause the tool to fall out of your hands – risk of injury!
-
Condensation may form when the product is brought from a cold room into a warm one (e.g. during transportation). This can damage the product! For this reason, allow the product to warm up to room temperature before using it or inserting the battery. This may take several hours.
d) Safety warnings for battery-powered tools

may cause an injury! When changing the saw blade, make sure that the saw blade
holder (3) is free of material residues, e.g. wood or metal chips.
Choosing the saw blade
Use the appropriate saw blade for your task. There are suitable saw blades for
different materials. For example, metals cannot be cut with a wood saw blade!
However, a wood saw blade can be used to cut plastics.
The suitable materials are listed on the packaging or the saw blade
instruction leaflet. If you are not sure, consult a specialist dealer.
Only use saw blades with a single-sided shaft. The saw blade should not be
longer than required for the intended cut.
Use a thin saw blade for narrow curved cuts.

Inserting the saw blade
- Turn the saw blade holder 1 clockwise as far as it will go and keep it in position.
- Insert the saw blade 2 into the holder as far as it will go.
- Release the saw blade holder 1 .
- Check that the saw blade is firmly seated by pulling on it (Warning, risk of injury! Take care not to cut yourself on the saw blade). It must not come out of the saw blade holder 1 .
Removing the saw blade
- Turn the saw blade holder 1 clockwise as far as it will go and keep it in position.
- Pull the saw blade 2 out of the holder.
- Release the saw blade holder 1 .
→ If the saw blade is worn or dirty, replace it immediately!
Only use suitable saw blades. Blunt or unsuitable saw blades can get caught
easily and lead to a loss of control over the tool.
Sliding shoe
The adjustable, pivoted blade shoe aligns with the desired angle of the
surface. It must be held firmly against the material to avoid saw vibrations,
cracks and breakages.
If you need to reduce the cutting capacity of your tool (cutting depth), the
pivoting shoe can be adjusted as follows.
Use a hex key to loosen the locking screw (A) on the bottom of the front
housing. Slide the pivoted blade shoe to the desired position. Tighten the
screw and check that the blade shoe is securely engaged.
Operation
Always observe the safety information at the beginning of these original operating instructions.
- Before commencing work, check the saw for loose connection screws and ensure that the saw blade holder and saw blade are securely in place.
- Always hold the saw with both hands.
- The saw blade will continue to move for a short time after the saw has been switched off.
Switching on/off and adjusting the cutting speed
To switch on the saw, press the release button (4) and then the on/off switch
(5).
Let go of the release button (4) and continue to press the on/off switch (5).
The on/off switch (5) can also be used to continuously adjust the cutting
speed. The more pressure you apply to the on/off switch (5), the higher the
cutting speed.
To switch off the machine, release the on/off switch (5).
Remove the device from the workpiece before switching it off, otherwise the
saw blade may become jammed. Let the saw come to a standstill before putting
the saw down.
Troubleshooting
No function, the device does not work
- The battery is depleted. Charge the battery using the corresponding charger.
- The battery is not correctly inserted into the battery holder (6) on the appliance.
- The appliance is overheated. Let the appliance cool down.
The saw blade does not move:
- Immediately switch off the saw and disconnect the battery.
- Check whether a foreign object is blocking the saw blade.
- If necessary, remove the saw blade and/or the foreign object.
The saw cut becomes unclean, the saw edges tear.
- The saw blade is worn or damaged and must be replaced.
- A saw blade unsuitable for the material or the type of saw cut is used.
- You are exerting too much pressure on the saw when sawing. Saw with less feed.
- Protect sensitive material (e.g. coated chipboard) with adhesive tape. The tape prevents tearing at the cutting edge. If necessary, you can also saw a thin wooden support, which also prevents the cutting edge from being torn out.
