VORTICE CA V0 Axial Centrifugal Aspirator for Air
Expulsion

Description and use

The unit you have purchased is an axial centrifugal aspirator for air expulsion in ventilation ducts. It is constructed of plastic self- extinguishing material V0, is protected against sprays of water, and is equipped with ball bearings, which guarantee at least 30,000 hours of mechanical operation and constant silence over time.
IMPORTANT: The unit is able to develop 3 ventilation speeds, as it is already equipped with suitable condensers. Operating speed control is designated to pairing with an appropriate 3-speed selector. For further information regarding the control device, see the “Wiring diagrams” paragraph.

These appliances are designed for use in residential and commercial properties.

  • The device must discharge in a single duct (used by this product only).
  • The product delivery point must always be connected to a duct.
  • Maximum room temperature for unit operation is 55°C.
  • The electrical specifications correspond to the ones on the data label A (fig.A).
  • An omnipolar switch with a contact opening distance of 3 mm or higher should be provided for installation, enabling complete disconnection under overvoltage category III conditions.
  • Products equipped with singlephase wiring (M) engines ALWAYS require connection to 220-240V (or only 230V where required) single-phase lines. Any kind of modification shall be considered as product tampering and shall nullify the relative warranty.
  • No specific adjustment is necessary as the devices operate at nominal frequencies without a preliminary setting.
  • Thermal protection devices:
  • Manual reset thermal protector The following models are equipped with a manual reset thermal protector If the thermal protector is triggered, please contact qualified personnel or Vortice authorised Technical Assistance Centre. If the problem persists after the reset operation, check the electrical system to which the unit is connected.
