A toaster is a household appliance intended for quick toasting of thin slices of bread (toasts).

ATTENTION!
For additional protection it is reasonable to install a residual current device (RCD) with nominal operation current not exceeding 30 mA, to install RCD, contact a specialist.

SAFETY MEASURES AND OPERATION RECOMMENDATIONS

Read the operation manual carefully before using the toaster maker; after reading, keep it for future reference.

Use the unit for its intended purpose only, as it is stated in this manual.
Mishandling the unit can lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to the user’s property, which is not covered by warranty.
Make sure that the operating voltage of the unit indicated on the label corresponds to your home mains voltage.
Connect the power plug to the socket with reliable grounding contact. In case of short circuit the grounding reduces the risk of electric shock.
Contact an electrical technician, if you are not sure that your sockets are installed properly and grounded.
Do not connect the unit to external timers or remote control mains sockets.
To avoid fire, do not use adapters for plugging the w in.
Install and use the unit on a flat, dry, stable, heatresistant surface so that access to the electrical outlet is always free.
Use the unit in a well-ventilated room, for normal air circulation the free space around the toaster maker should be at least 10-15 cm on each side.
During the toaster maker operation do not allow the unit body to come in contact with curtains, wall coverings, clothing, kitchen towels or other flammable materials.
Do not use the unit outdoors.
It is recommended not to use the unit during lightning storms.
Protect the toaster maker from impacts, falling, vibrations and other mechanical stress.
Never leave the unit connected to the electric mains unattended.
Do not cover the toaster with any foreign objects during its operation.
Do not use the unit near heating appliances, heat sources or open flame.
Do not use the toaster maker in places where aerosols are used or sprayed, and in proximity to inflammable liquids.
Do not use the toaster maker in proximity to the kitchen sink, in bathrooms, near swimming pools or other containers filled with water.
If the toaster maker is dropped into water, unplug it immediately, and only then you can take the unit out of water. Apply to the service center for testing or repairing the unit.
Do not let the power cord touch hot surfaces and sharp edges of furniture.
Do not move the toaster maker when it is hot; wait until it cools down completely.
Do not switch the toaster maker on without products.
To avoid risk of fire, do not put oversized food into the toaster, do not wrap the food in food-grade foil.
Do not remove the toasts during the unit operation.

ATTENTION! Select and set the required toasting level correctly, the bread can catch fire if you toast it too long.

Do not use the toaster for toasting pastries with too much sugar or filled with jam or marmalade.
The metal parts heat up strongly during the toaster operation, be careful and do not touch its hot surfaces.
Unplug the unit after usage or before cleaning. When unplugging the toaster maker, hold the power plug and carefully remove it from the mains socket, do not pull the power cord, as this can lead to its damage and cause a short circuit.
Do not touch the unit body, the power cord and the power plug with wet hands.
For child safety reasons do not leave polyethylene bags used as packaging unattended.

ATTENTION! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!

The unit is not intended for usage by children.
Do not leave children unattended to prevent using the unit as a toy.
Do not allow children to touch the operating surface, the unit body, the power cord or the power plug during operation of the unit.
Be especially careful if children or disabled persons are near the operating unit.
During the unit operation and breaks between operation cycles, place the unit out of reach of children.
The unit is not intended for usage by physically, psychologically, sensory or mentally disabled persons (including children) or when they lack experience or knowledge if they are not under supervision of a person who is responsible for their safety or if they are not instructed by this person on the usage of the unit.
From time to time check the power cord integrity.
If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, a maintenance service or similar qualified personnel to avoid danger.
Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not disassemble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction is detected, and after the unit was dropped, unplug it and apply to the authorized service center.
To avoid damages, transport the unit in the original package.
Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children and disabled persons.

THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY, DO NOT USE THE UNIT FOR COMMERCIAL OR LABORATORY PURPOSES.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

After unit transportation or storage at negative temperature, unpack it and wait for 3 hours before using.

Unpack the unit and remove all the packaging materials.
Keep the original package.
Read the safety measures and operating recommendations.
Check the delivery set.
Examine the unit for damages; do not plug the damaged unit into the electric mains.
Make sure that specified specifications of power supply voltage of the unit correspond to the specifications of your mains.
Clean the unit body surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth, and then wipe it dry.
On the bottom part of the toaster body (5) there is a cord storage. Select optimal length of the power cord laying it in a corresponding way.
Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet, switch the unit on by pressing the toaster power lever (2), the lever (2) will be fixed in the lower position, the toaster will be switched on, digital symbols (8) will display the degree of toasting «4» and the remaining operating time, the degree of toasting «4» is set by default.
At the end of the set time the toaster will automatically switch off and the lever (2) will return to the initial position.
During the first switching on the heating elements burn, therefore occurrence of a small amount of smoke or foreign smell is possible. It is normal and is not a warranty case.
If necessary, switch the toaster on for several times.

MAKING TOASTS

ATTENTION!

Never try to take jammed toasts out of the operating toaster with your hands or with metal objects, as contact of the metal object with the heating element under voltage may cause electric shock.
Unplug the unit and wait until the toaster cools down. After that you can take the jammed toasts out with a sui¬table wooden or plastic spatula.
To avoid getting burns, do not touch metal parts of the toaster with your hands or open par¬ts of your body during toaster operation.
Put two slices of bread into the slots for bread toasting (1).
Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
Switch the unit on by pressing the toaster power lever (2), the lever (2) will be fixed in the lower position, the toaster will be switched on, digital symbols (8) will display the degree of toasting «4» and the remaining operating time, the degree of toasting «4» is set by default.
By pressing the toasting degree setting button (9) « », set the required toasting degree:
«1» – minimal toasting level;
«7» – maximal toasting level.

Notes:

the operation mode control buttons are touchsensitive, it is enough to touch the button;
the toasting level depends on the sort of bread and thickness of slices. Optimal thickness of the slices should not exceed 25 mm;
choose the degree of toasting that suits your needs.
do not use very thin slices of bread, because they do not center in the toaster.
During operation of the toaster, all indicators of the control buttons will light up, the digital symbols (8) show the degree of toasting and the remaining operating time of the set mode.
When the toasts are ready, the toaster will be switched off automatically, the lever (2) will return to its initial position.

TOASTING STOP BUTTON (7) « »

If you need to switch the toaster off or stop the toasting process, press the button (7) « ».
The toaster will be switched off, and the lever (2) will return to the initial position.

DEFROSTING MODE BUTTON (10) « »

To toast frozen bread, put the slices in to the slots for bread toasting (1).
Switch the unit on by pressing the toaster power lever (2), the lever (2) will be fixed in the lower position.
Press the «defrosting» mode button (10) « ****».
By pressing the toasting degree setting button (9) « », set the required toasting degree.
During operation of the «defrosting» mode, the indicator of the button (10) « ****» will be flashing, the digital symbols (8) show the degree of toasting and the remaining operating time of the «defrosting» mode.
When the toasts are ready, the toaster will be switched off automatically, the lever (2) will return to its initial position.

REHEATING MODE BUTTON (6) « »

To reheat cold toast, put the toasts in to the slots (1), press on the carriage control lever (2) until it latches, then press the «reheat» button (6) « ****».
During the operation of the «Reheating» mode, the indicator of the button (6) « ****» will be flashing, the digital symbols (8) show the remaining operating time of the «reheating» mode.
When the toasts are ready, the toaster will be switched off automatically, the lever (2) will return to its initial position.

CRUMB TRAY

Bread crumbs are accumulated in the tray (4), regularly clean the tray (4).
Switch the toaster off and unplug the power cord plug from the mains socket, wait until the toaster cools down.
Remove the crumb tray (4), clean it off the crumbs and install the tray back to its place.

CLEANING AND CARE

Before cleaning unplug the unit and leave it open to cool down.
Wipe the toaster maker body with a slightly damp cloth, and then wipe it dry.
Do not use metal brushes, abrasives, or solvents to clean the toaster maker, of the toaster maker body.
Regularly clean the tray (4).

Attention

To avoid electric shock do not immerse the toaster maker, the power cord or the plug into water or other liquids.

STORAGE

Clean the toaster maker before taking it away for long storage.
Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children and disabled persons.

The manufacturing date is specified in the serial number. In case of any malfunctions, it is necessary to apply promptly to the authorized service center.
