You should be able t o hear t he SiriusXM p review cha nne l on Channel 1. If you can not hea r t he p review channel, please check t he installat ion inst ruct ions to make sure your SiriusXM Connect t uner is properly installed.
A fte r you can hea r t he p review cha nnel, tune to Channel Ot o find t he Radio ID of you r t uner. In addition, the Radio ID is located o n the bottom of the SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner and its packag ing. You will need this nu mb er to act ivate your subscription. As part of the act ivat ion process, t he SiriusXM satellites will se nd an activat ion m essage to you r t uner. When your radio

detects t hat t he tu ner has received t he activa tion message, you r radio will display: “Subscripti on Updated”. Once subscribed, you ca n tune to channels in you r subscript ion plan.
Note: The activation process usually takes 10 t o 15 minutes, b ut may take up to an hou r. Your radio will need t o be powered o n and receiving the SiriusXM signal to receive the activa t ion m essage.
Paren tal Controls Some SiriusXM channels contain mat ure content. When the Parental Cont rols feature is enabled, channels wit h mat ure content are rest ri cted and will requi re a 4-digit lock code to access.
Enabling Parental Controls
1. Press BACK/MENU to access t he
SiriusXM: Main Menu. 2. Turn VOL /SEL to Parental Controls
and press to enter. 3. Press VOL/SEL to select Lock
Mat ure Channels. After, you must enter a 4 -digit lock code to lock mature content channels. (Parental Control default passcode: 0000) 4. Use VOL/SEL to enter the 4-dig it lock code and select Save when fini shed.
Changing the Lock Code
1. Press BACK/MENU to access t he
SiriusXM: Main Menu. 2. Turn VOL/SEL to Parental Contro ls
and press to enter. 3. Turn VOL /SEL to Ed it Lock Code
and press enter. 4. Use VOL/SEL to enter the current
4-digit lock code and select Enter when finished. 5. Use VOL/SEL to enter the new lock code and select Enter to confirm. Make sure to save your 4-digit lock code for future reference.

The SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner is having difficu lty receiving the SiriusXM satellite signal. · Verify that your veh icle/vessel is outdoors with a clear view of the sky. · Verify that the SiriusXM antenna is mount on the exterior. · Move the SiriusXM antenna away from any obstructions. · Inspect the antenna cable for damage and kinks. · Consult the SiriusXM Connect Vehicle tuner installation manua l for more infor-

Channel Locked

USA Li mited Warranty
FOR MARINE AND POWERSPORTS AUDIO SOLD AT RETAIL:
Clarion Marine warrants this product to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase.
This warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original retail purchaser from an authorized Clarion Marine dealer in the USA. Should service be necessary under this warranty for any reason due to manufacturing defect or malfunction, Clarion Marine will (at its discretion), repair or replace the defective product with new or remanufactured product at no charge.
Note: Products purchased from unauthorized dealers are not covered under warranty.
Damage caused by the following is not covered under warranty: accident, misuse, physical abuse, product modification or neglect, failure to follow installation instructions, unauthorized repair attempts, misrepresentations by the seller. Loudspeakers with thermal or overexcursion damage are not covered under warranty. This warranty does not cover incidental, accidental or consequential damages and does not cover the cost of removing or reinstalling products. Cosmetic damage due to improper handling, accident or normal wear and tear or exposure to harsh chemicals is not covered under warranty. JL Audio will not be responsible for restoring or maintaining custom finishes or cosmetic treatments applied to products.
This warranty is void if the product’s serial number has been removed , altered or defaced.
Any applicable implied warranties are limited in duration to the period of the express warranty as provided herein beginning with the date of the original purchase at retail, and no warranties, whether express or implied, shall apply to this product thereafter. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, therefore these exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other nghts which vary from state to state.
If you need service on your Clarion Marine product:
All USA retail warranty returns should be sent to Clarion Marine freight prepaid through an authorized Clarion Marine dealer and must be accompanied by proof of purchase (a copy of the original retail sales receipt.) Direct returns from consumers or non-authorized dealers will be refused unless specifically authorized by Clarion Marine with a valid return authorization number. Warranty expiration on products returned without proof of purchase will be determined from the manufacturing date code. Coverage may be invalidated as this date is prior to purchase date. Return only defective components. (If one speaker fails in a system, return only that speaker component, not the entire system.) Non-defective items received will be returned freight-collect. Customer is responsible for shipping charges and insurance in sending the product to Clarion Marine. Freight damage on returns is not covered under warranty.
