IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USE AND KEEP FUTURE REFERENCE.

  1. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

  2. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.

  3. Children shall not play with the appliance.

  4. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

  5. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such
    as:
    — Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments;
    — Farm houses;
    — By clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments;
    — Bed and breakfast type environments.

  6. Switch off the appliance before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.

  7.  Always disconnect the device from the power supply if left unattended and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.

  8. The device must not be submerged.

  9. The device is intended for domestic use only. Do not use outdoors.

  13. Keep the appliance and the cable away from hotplates or burners.

  14. Place the device on a flat, stable surface.

  15. Do not read the device if it is damaged or malfunctions.

  16. Do not allow the main cord to come in contact with the hot surface.

  17. Make sure that the power cord does not protrude from the plane of work.

  18. This device should not be used by children. Keep the device and its cables out of reach of children.

  19. Before using the appliance, unplug it from the power supply electric.

  20. Never immerse the appliance or the power cord in water or any other liquid. Do not allow liquid to get into the appliance.

  21. Keep children’s fingers, hair, clothing, and utensils away from baths/hooks.

  22. Do not let anything enter the vents.

  23. Do not mount any accessories other than those supplied.

  24. The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  1.  Remove all packaging from the appliance.
  2. Unpack all parts and check for damage that may have occurred during transport. If any parts are damaged or missing, do not use the appliance and return it to your retail outlet immediately.
  3. Clean the appliance before first use (see ‘CLEANING AND CARE’).

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

ASSEMBLING THE BEATERS AND DOUGH HOOKS

  1. Make sure the hand mixer is switched off and unplugged from the power supply.
  2. Insert each beater (8) or dough hook (9) into the respective drive head. One of the drive head holes is larger than the other one.The beaters (8) can fit into either hole. The dough hook (9) with four notches (10) fits in the larger hole, while the dough hook with two notches fits in the smaller hole. Align the notches (10) with the slots in the drive head holes, and then push the beater (8) or dough hook (9) firmly until it locks into place.
  3. Make sure you use either two beaters or two dough hooks at the same time.

USING THE HAND MIXER

  1. Connect the hand mixer to the power supply.
  2. Hold the handle (7), and then press the On/Off button (6). The display (3) will light up with Speed “0”.
  3. Press Y(4) to start mixing the ingredients at the required speed level.
    -Use the beaters for beating or aerating light dough, battering egg whites and whipping cream.
    -Use the dough hooks for mixing heavy dough such as bread or fruit cake.
    -Only use the hand mixer for mixing ingredients. Do not use it for kneading dough, as this may overload and damage the motor.
  4. After running the hand mixer continuously for 5 minutes, let it cool down for at least 5 minutes before continuing.
  5. If the mixture contains too many ingredients, add some water or milk to make it easier to mix.
  6. Press the On/Off button (6) to stop the hand mixer.
  7. Shake off the excess mixture into the mixing bowl.

USING THE SPEED CONTROL

When the hand mixer is switched on, press 4) to increase or decrease the speed level (from level 1 to 6). The display (3) will show how long the hand mixer has been running (in minutes and seconds).
Note: In general, it takes longer and a slower speed to mix food with a bigger volume, density, or higher ratio of solid to liquid.

USING THE TURBO BUTTON

When the hand mixer is switched on, press the Turbo button (5) to make the hand mixer run at maximum speed. To return to the previous speed level, press the Turbo button again, or press the V button to decrease the speed by one level.

REMOVING THE BEATERS AND DOUGH HOOKS

  1. Press On/Off (6) to switch off the hand mixer, and then unplug it from the power supply.
  2. Shake off any excess mixture into the mixing bowl.
  3. Hold the beaters (8) or dough hooks (9) when pressing the Eject button (2). This prevents the accessories from falling out from the drive heads.
  4. Clean the appliance and accessories thoroughly and place them back onto the storage stand (11) for easy storage

CLEANING AND CARE

– CAUTION: Always switch off and unplug the appliance from the wall socket before cleaning.
– Wipe the outside of the appliance with a soft damp cloth.
– Wash the beaters and dough hooks in hot and soapy water.
– Do not allow anything to enter the air vents (1).
– Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
– Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the product.

STORAGE

If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period, store it carefully.
– Unplug the appliance.
– Store the appliance in a cool and dry place.
– KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
