SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify its integrity based on the drawing and any presence of damage caused by transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact an authorized service center.
- Do not let children play with the packaging! Keep the plastic bag out of the reach of children- the risk of suffocation!
- Before connecting the appliance, please make sure that the voltage indicated on the identification plate corresponds to that of the main voltage. The identification plate is found on the appliance.
- This appliance is intended exclusively as an electric blanket for home use. Any other use is considered not compliant and therefore dangerous.
- The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental abilities, or with no experience or knowledge unless supervised by a person responsible for their safety or after having received instructions regarding its use.
Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance. The appliance is not to be used by people who are insensitive to heat or vulnerable and unable to react to overheating. This appliance must not be used by children if the control devices have not been set beforehand by a parent or guardian or if the child has not been properly instructed on how to use the device safely, WARNING- NOT suitable for children under the age of 3. Children under the age of 3 must not use the appliance due to their inability to react to overheating.

PREPARATION
PLACING THE ELECTRIC BLANKET
IMPORTANT
The electric blanket must only be placed between the mattress and the flat
sheet and not on top of persons in bed.
- Lay the electric blanket directly on the mattress with the side on which there is plug (1) facing the mattress.
- Make sure the electric blanket is always laid out properly
- Lay the flat sheet on the electric blanket and then finish laying the bed as usual with a sheet and bed cover.
USE

IMPORTANT!
The electric blanket must only be used with the control unit supplied. The
relative model is specified on the label sewn on the panel.
Insert plug (2) in the socket (1) to connect the temperature control unit to the electric blanket.
- The same must be done with the second plug in the double bed model.
- Disconnect the plug (2) from the electric blanket by pressing the pushbuttons at the sides of the plug
SWITCHING THE ELECTRIC BLANKET ON AND SELECTING THE CORRECT TEMPERATURE
IMPORTANT
Do NOT place the control unit under the pillow or under the sheets when in
use. Plug into the mains socket. Switch the electric underblanket on at least
one hour before going to bed setting the temperature control switch to level 2
(maximum temperature). After about one hour, the bed will be pleasantly warm.
If the room is very cold, turn on the electric underblanket for two or three
hours before going to bed. lf you wish to keep the electric underblanket warm
all night, turn the control to setting 1 (minimum temperature) when you go to
bed. Do not use setting 2 (maximum temperature). lf you want to turn the
electric underblanket off, turn the control to setting 0 and remove the plug
from the socket.
DISCONNECTION
Select the switch-off function on the back of the control unit(8) and disconnect the plug from the socket.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
- Disconnect the wire from the temperature control unit before washing as shown in fig. (B).
- It is important to measure the electric blanket before washing it in order to verify that the dimensions are approximately the same while drying.
MACHINE WASHING
- The electric blanket can be machine washed at 40°C using a delicate program.
- Only the gentle spin cycle is to be used. Do NOT program an extra spin cycle.
WASHING BY HAND
- The electric blanket can be washed by hand at a maximum temperature of 40°C.
- Use liquid soap for delicate garments (read the product dosage instructions).
DRYING
- Set the dryer at a low temperature. Hang the electric blanket without applying pegs on the electrical parts so as not to damage them.
- Do NOT use the electric blanket until it is completely dry.
HANGING THE ELECTRIC BLANKET TO DRY
The electric blanket must be hung to dry in the approximate original
dimensions. The best results are obtained when it is still damp, one panel at
a time from one end and the other. This may have to be repeated a number of
times until the electric blanket is completely dry. Make sure the wires are
not kinked or twisted. It is easier to check the wires by placing the electric
blanket against the light. lf problems arise with the wires after having hung
the electric blanket or if it does not return to its original size, return it
to an authorized Service Centre for a safety check.
STORING THE ELECTRIC BLANKET
ATTENTION! When you store the appliance, let it cool down before folding it.

- When you store the appliance, do NOT place objects on top of it which crease it and/or deform it
- The fabric may take on a natural yellow color over time. This does not compromise the safety and performance of the product in any way.
REGULAR CHECKS
Check the appliance and the flexible cord often for signs of wear and tear. Should this be noted or in the case of malfunction, take the appliance to an authorized IMETEC Technical Service Centre. However, we recommend having your electric blanket checked by an authorized Imetec Service Centre at least once every 3 years.
DISPOSAL
The packaging is made up of recyclable material. Dispose of it in compliance with environmental protection The product must be disposed of appropriately, in compliance with European standard 2002/96/EC. The rec in the appliance must be collected to prevent environmental pollution. For further information contact the appliance retailer.

To request repairs or purchase spare parts, please contact IMETECs’ authorized customer service center at the number below or via the website. The appliance is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
