Installation instructions
- Check figure 1, 2 and 3 for correct installation locations.
- Smoke, heat and burning things will spread horizontally after rising to the ceiling, so install the alarm in middle of the ceiling.
- If the length of the room or the hall is beyond 10 meters, you need to install multiple alarms.
Don’t install on these locations
- High-humidity areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.
- Next to air outlets, fans and central heating.
- Dusty, dirty areas or areas with insects.
- High-temperature and easily polluted places.
- Places with difficult access, making it difficult to operate the test function.
- Within 1.5 meters from lamps.
- Next to doors or windows.
- In the top of rooms with sloping roofs, the corner of the room or other deadair spaces.
Mounting the smoke detector
- Twist off the mounting bracket from the smoke detector.
- Put the bracket on the installation position and mark the 2 screw holes.
- Drill two 5mm mounting holes and insert two plastic anchor plugs by hammer.
- Screw the mounting bracket to the ceiling or the wall.
- Attach the smoke detector to the mounting bracket and turn clockwise to lock the alarm.
CAUTION
- The installation instructions must be followed strictly to avoid unsafe conditions.
- Do not paint your smoke detector.
- The battery cannot be replaced; do not try to replace the battery.
Activate and deactivate the device
The device is deactivated by default before leaving the factory. Before the
device can be used normally, the product must be activated.
Activate: Press the test button over 10 seconds until the red LED indicator
lights up. After you release the test button the smoke detector is activated
and can be used.
Deactivate: Press the test button over 10 seconds until the red LED indicator
blinks twice. After you release the test button the smoke detector is
deactivated and cannot be used.
How to link the smoke alarms
- Step 1 : Press the test/silence button on one of the smoke alarms 4 times. The smoke detector enters transmitting mode for 60sec and the green LED will rapidly flash.
- Step 2 : Press the test/silence button on the other smoke alarms twice. The green LED will slowly flash, indicating receiving mode.
- Step 3 : If pairing is successful, the green LED on the receiving alarms will stop flashing. When there is an error the green light will continue to flash for 60 seconds followed by a red light for 2 seconds.
How to unlink a smoke alarm
Press the test/silence button on the smoke alarm twice and the green LED will slowly flash for 60 seconds (receiving mode). After this period, it will stop flasing and the smoke alarm is unlinked.
Test your alarm
Test the unit to ensure proper operation by pressing the cover. The alarm will sound if the unit is working well. If there is no sound, refer to the “Trouble shooting” section.
CAUTION:
- DO NOT test your smoke detector using an open flame. This may damage the smoke alarm or ignite combustible materials and start a structural fire.
- DO NOT stand close to the smoke detector when the alarm is sounding. Exposure at close range may be harmful to your ears.
- Monthly test: test this smoke detector once a month.
LED Indicators
- Normal status: Green LED Flashes once every 60 seconds.
- Test status: Red LED flashes once every second.
- Hush/Silence mode: Red LED flashes once every 8 seconds.
- Low battery status: Red LED flashes once every 60 seconds and 1 beep every 60 seconds.
- Fault status: the alarm will beep every 40 seconds.
Silence Mode
When the smoke detector is going off you can push the test button to pause it for approx. 10 minutes. During this silence mode the red LED will flash once every 8 second. The silence feature is only to be used when the source of the alarm is known and safe. The smoke detector will automatically reset after approximately 10 minutes.
CAUTION:
Before using the smoke detectors silence mode, identify the source of the
smoke and be certain a safe condition exists.
Maintenance and Cleaning
There are a few simple steps you need do to keep it working properly:
- Test the smoke detector once a month.
- Do not paint the smoke detector. Paint will seal the vents and interfere with the sensor’s ability to detect smoke.
- Never attempt to disassemble the smoke detector to clean inside. This will damage the alarm.
- Clean the smoke detector at least once a month to remove dust, dirt or debris. Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush and vacuum all sides and covers of the smoke detector.

Warranty Information
- Each smoke detector has to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. During the specified warranty period, we will repair or replace any defective smoke detector that is returned. Please contact us at invisionretail@gmail.com and include your name, address, phone number and order number along with a brief description of what is wrong with the unit.
- Damage from neglect, abuse or failure to adhere to any of the enclosed instructions will result in termination of the warranty, and the unit will not be replaced or repaired.
- This warranty shall not apply to the smoke detector if it has been damaged, modified, abused or altered after the date of purchase or if it fails to operatedue to improper maintenance.
- The manufacturer shall have no liability for any personal injury, property damage or any special, incidental, contingent or consequential damage of any kind resulting from gas leakage, smoke, fire or explosion
