BATTERY REPLACEMENT
|
---|---
|
When the LED flashes in red, this means the battery is low.
Replace the battery as soon as possible. When the battery is completely flat,
the water timer automatically stops its functions and closes the valve. Only
use new 9 V Alkaline 6LR61 batteries, with an expiry date exceeding one year
and that have never been used. Replace the battery at the beginning of each
season. Never replace the battery during irrigation, otherwise the water will
continue to flow at the end of the cycle.
After changing the battery, do I have to reprogramme the water timer? After
the battery has been replaced, repeat programming.
INSTALLATION
Do not install the water timer inside valve boxes, below ground level or indoors. Do not use the water timer with operating pressures lower than 0.5 bar (7.3 psi) or higher than 10 bar (145psi).

certain that the programmes run correctly. Do not use the water timer with
chemicals or liquids other than water.
At the end of the season, before the winter frosts, disconnect the timer from
the tap, remove the battery and store the timer in a sheltered place, away
from damp, where the temperature does not fall below 3°C.

USE
HOW MUCH TO WATER (watering run time)
Watering run time is set in one of the following ways: standard solution,
expert solution. The timer irrigates once a day every 24 hours. The run time
of the irrigation cycle can be set to between 1 and 60 minutes.
STANDARD SOLUTION
3. Interrupt watering cycle when sufficient (e.g. after 15 minutes)
The saved run time (15 minutes) is repeated every 24 hours.
Not able to count the flashes in time? The procedure can be repeated any time
starting from point (1).
EXPERT SOLUTION
3. Within 1 minute of watering, press and hold STOP without releasing it
Then, count the flashes (1 flash = 1 minute of irrigation)
When the required run time has been reached (e.g. 15 flashes = 15 minutes), release the key button the stored run time (15 minutes) will be repeated at each watering cycle
2. WHEN TO WATER (watering start time)
Irrigation always takes place at the time the timer was set. For example,
if you start irrigation for 15 minutes at 20:00, irrigation will start at
20:00 on the following days and will last for the same time (15 minutes),
until a new programme is set. If you forget to press STOP the first time the
timer is programmed, it will irrigate for an hour on that day and then for 5
minutes only on the following days.
3. WATERING FREQUENCY (how often to water )
The frequency is daily (every 24 hours) and cannot be modified by the user
(for example, every day at 20:00).
LED INDICATIONS
| (flashing quickly) watering in progress
---|---
| (flashing slowly) no watering in progress
| (red flash) battery flat. Replace as soon as possible
| (led off ) the battery is completely flat or the water timer is set to OFF
and will not water automatically until new setting is carried out
5. STOPPING WATERING IN ADVANCE WHEN ALREADY UNDER WAY
Press the red STOP button to stop the irrigation cycle in progress. It will
not start again until the next day. Pressing the green START button will NOT
restart the irrigation cycle.
6. SET TO OFF
By pressing the RED and GREEN key buttons at the same time, all settings are
reset and the timer goes to OFF.
DISPLAY OF SET RUN TIME

(e.g. 01 minute) or the units are set to zero (e.g. 10 minutes).

| The set watering run time can be viewed at any moment, for example, during
the wait time between one watering cycle and the next one. Press the GREEN

seconds, then starts flashing according to the number of minutes set.

If the timer does not start the water flow and the LED is flashing red,
replace the battery.
If I accidentally touch the RED key, will setting be cancelled? No,
programming is saved but if there is an irrigation cycle running it will be
stopped and the programme will run the next day.
I want to change the watering run time. Reset the water timer by pressing the
GREEN and RED keys at the same time and repeat setting entering the new run
time value
I want to change watering frequency (i.e. the number of daily watering
cycles). The water times ONLY carries out one watering cycle per day (every 24
hours).
This setting cannot be changed.
I want to change the daily watering start time. Watering cycles start every
day at the time set in the water timer. The only way to change this time is to
reset the water timer by pressing the GREEN and RED keys at the same time and
repeat setting to the time required
