SAFETY WARNINGS AND GUIDELINES
Please read this entire manual before using this device, paying extra attention to these safety warnings and guidelines. Please keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive volume levels, which could cause hearing damage. Reduce the volume to minimum before using this speaker, then increase the volume to a comfortable listening level.
- Do not expose this device to excessively high temperatures. Do not place it in, on, or near a heat source, such as a fireplace, stove, radiator, etc. Do not leave it in direct sunlight.
- This device contains a Lithium battery. Dispose of this device only in accordance with local, state, or federal regulations for electronic waste.
- Charge the battery before first use and at least once every three months to keep it fresh and capable of holding the full charge.
- Clean using a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use chemical cleaners, solvents, or detergents. For stubborn deposits, moisten the cloth with warm water.
- This device has no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open, service, or modify this device.

CHARGING
Perform the following steps to charge the speaker.
- Plug one end of the included Micro USB Charging Cable into the USB Power Port on the speaker, then plug the other end into a USB power source, such as a computer, wall charger, or power bank (available separately). The Volume/Charging LEDs illuminate blue while charging is in progress.
- When all four Volume/Charging LEDs are fully illuminated, the battery is fully charge. Unplug the Micro USB Charging Cable from the USB power source, then unplug it from the speaker. Store the cable in a safe place for future use.
USING THE SPEAKER AS A POWER BANK
This speaker features a large capacity 5000mAh rechargeable battery and a USB
Type-A output port, allowing you to use the speaker as a power bank to charge
another device. To charge another device, plug one end of its charging cable
into the device, then plug the other end into the USB Power Port on the
speaker.
BLUETOOTH PAIRING

When the speaker is first powered on, it will attempt to reconnect to a previously paired device. If that device is powered off or out of range, the speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth® pairing mode. The Bluetooth LED will blink white, indicating that it is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
If the speaker is connected to a device and you want to connect a different device, press and hold the Bluetooth Button for 2 seconds to disconnect the first device and put the speaker in Bluetooth® pairing mode. The Bluetooth LED will blink white, indicating that it is in Bluetooth pairing mode. -
With the speaker in Bluetooth pairing mode, open the Bluetooth settings on your device and scan for nearby Bluetooth devices.

Locate and select the MP43248 entry. If prompted for a passcode, enter 0000 (four zeros). Once connected, the Bluetooth LED will illuminate solid white.
BASIC OPERATION
- With the speaker powered off, press and hold the Power Button for 2 seconds to turn the speaker on.
- With the speaker powered on, press and hold the Power Button for 2 seconds to turn the speaker off.
- With an active Bluetooth® connection, momentarily press the Power Button to pause or resume audio playback.
- Momentarily press the Volume- Button to decrease the volume level.
- Momentarily press the Volume+ Button to increase the volume level.
- With an active Bluetooth connection, press and hold the Volume- Button for 2 seconds to skip back to the previous track.
- With an active Bluetooth connection, press and hold the Volume+ Button for 2 seconds to skip forward to the next track.
- When using a physical audio connection through the 3.5mm Audio Jack, momentarily press the Power Button to toggle audio muting on or off.
- With an active Bluetooth connection, press and hold the Bluetooth Button for 2 seconds to disconnect your device. The speaker will then automatically reenter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- When an incoming call is received with an active Bluetooth connection, momentarily press the Bluetooth Button to answer the call.
- When an incoming call is received with an active Bluetooth connection, press and hold the Bluetooth Button to reject the call.
- With a call in progress, momentarily press the Bluetooth Button to hang up.
Note that when TrueWireless™ Stereo Mode is active, the phone controls are only active on the master (left) speaker. All other controls are active on both speakers and effect both speakers.
TRUEWIRELESS STEREO MODE
If you have two 43248 speakers, you can connect them together to form a stereo
pair for true stereo audio playback by performing the following steps.
- Ensure that neither speaker is connected to a Bluetooth® device and that both speakers are powered off.
- Power on both speakers, then momentarily press the Bluetooth Button to initiate TrueWireless™ Stereo Mode pairing. Once pairing is complete, an audible tone will be heard and the Bluetooth LED on the master (left) speaker will blink white, while the Bluetooth LED on the slave (right) speaker will illuminate solid blue.
- Open the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device and scan for nearby Bluetooth devices.
- Locate and select the MP43248 entry. If prompted for a passcode, enter 0000 (four zeros). Once your device is connected, the Bluetooth LED on the master (left) speaker changes to solid white and an audible tone can be heard.
- While TrueWireless Stereo Mode is active, restart both speakers to exit TrueWireless Stereo Mode.
Note that when in TrueWireless Stereo Mode, the 3.5mm Audio Jack on the slave (right) speaker is inactive. Use the jack on the master (left) speaker for a physical connection.
