Introduction

What distinguishes our Aria 2.1 system from the other ceiling speakers that are available? Simply put, it’s their superior audio quality and simple installation. An 8″ passive subwoofer and two 3″ satellite speakers make up the Aria 2.1 system. Installation is made simpler by running just one speaker wire to the subwoofer and then shorter wires from the subwoofer to the individual satellite speakers, as opposed to conventional passive systems where wires must be connected from the amplifier to each individual speaker.

Through the use of a 12dB crossover, the subwoofer divides the audio signal into two bands: one for frequencies below 200Hz and one for frequencies above 200Hz, which it delivers to the satellites. The system is suitable for the majority of home theatre audio systems because it is made to be driven by amplifiers with 50–200 watts of power. More bass please? Include one more subwoofer. For a big room, do you need more protection? Include a second set of satellite speakers. There is no simpler solution than that.

TRUE 2.1 SYSTEM

All frequencies below 200Hz are used by the subwoofer, and all frequencies above 200Hz are sent to the satellite speakers via a two-way, 12-dB crossover at 200Hz.

SLIM BEZEL

The paintable speaker grill’s slim bezel makes it easier for these speakers to blend in with the ceiling, creating a system that is heard but not seen.

HOW TO INSTALL

A single, 4-conductor cable is all that is required to connect the amplifier to the subwoofer, and a pair of shorter, 2-conductor wires are all that is required to connect the sub to the satellites. This eliminates the need to run separate wires from the amplifier to each speaker.

MODULAR

It is possible to expand the system by adding more subwoofers and/or satellite speakers. More bass please? Include one more subwoofer. For a big room, do you need more protection? Include a second set of satellite speakers. There is no simpler solution than that.

HOW TO KNOW IF WALL SPEAKERS WORK

Lightly contact the speaker wire to the battery using a battery and the other end of the wire. A positive sign is when you hear noise. Check to see whether everything is connected correctly before trying again with a different cable if you can’t hear anything.

FAQs

How deep a foundation must be for installation?****

should contain 5 “at the least. The speaker is just about 1/4 in size “If it is any shorter than that, the speaker wires exit the back in a straight line.

Do I need the ceiling mount to use the speaker?****

Yes. Although the speaker can be unscrewed from the ceiling mount, I haven’t tried it because there might be adhesive sealing the speaker’s rim.

Is an amp necessary?****

You do indeed need an amplifier for this.

If you install in-wall speakers, do you remove the insulation first?****

By putting the speaker into the hole with the back first and removing the section of insulation, you can check the size of the hole. Shave the area around the outline if the hole is too small, then retest. Install your speaker as normal.

Are receivers required for in-wall speakers?****

Speakers installed in walls and ceilings are typically passive speakers. They are thus not required to be connected to a power source. They just require a connection to a receiver or amplifier that can also serve as a power supply.

How much depth do in-wall speakers require?****

For optimal installation, most in-wall speakers need 3 12″ of depth and most in-ceiling speakers need 5″ or more behind the drywall, but make sure to check the speaker’s requirements first.

Do in-wall speakers pose a fire risk?****

A speaker’s heat output is thought to be far too little to start a fire.

Is standard speaker cable allowed in walls?****

Use only wire that is approved for installation inside walls. A CL2 or CL3-rated speaker wire is what you want to buy. For installation in plenum- rated airspace above a drop ceiling in a commercial building, wire-rated CL2P or CL3P is required. If you’re putting cable through the ground to outdoor speakers, it should be direct burial rated.

What about in-wall speakers for music?****

In-wall speakers offer excellent sound quality, flexible installation options, and a wider sound stage. All types of home entertainment systems benefit greatly from having them.

Do on-wall speakers outperform built-in speakers in quality?****

On-wall speakers’ greatest benefit is that they take up minimal room, making them the ideal option if you have limited space.

What stops a speaker from functioning?****

The majority of problems with audio systems are caused by poor or inaccurate connections and wiring. Incorrect settings on your TV, AV receiver, and speakers might potentially cause issues. Unbelievably, improper speaker placement can also cause some audio-related problems.

What results in a speaker being silent?****

Check for any loose cables or cords at the speaker and headphone connections. Ensure that all cables and cords are plugged in. Make sure all cords and cables are plugged into the appropriate jack if there are multiple 5mm jacks available, particularly if you have a surround sound system.

Why must speakers be set back from a wall?****

If at all feasible, keep your speakers away from the walls because sound waves might be affected by reflections off of nearby objects.

How can I tell if my speaker is malfunctioning?****

Damage to a blown speaker may be audible with some mechanical movement. It should sound like a solid drum if you lightly tap the speaker’s cone. A defective speaker can be identified if you hear rattling, similar to a loose snare drum.

What safety measures need to be taken when installing insulation?****

To prevent eye irritation, wear goggles and a head covering. gloves and long- sleeved, baggy clothing to reduce skin contact.
