  • Always keep all labels on the device clean and readable.
  • Only use the device for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in this manual. The device is not designed for continuous, professional use.
  • Keep hands and clothes away from the rod and the plunger area. Otherwise your fingers or clothes may be pinched.
  • Hold the tool firmly.
  • Always work in a well ventilated area and wear proper protections in accordance with the operation.
  • When operating the adhesive gun overhead, do not have the plunger rod in the path of your eyes or head. The plunger rod may slip back in the direction of the user. Always wear eye protection when using the adhesive gun. Please note that when applied, the sealant can come off and fall into your eye. Use eye protection when using the caulking gun.
  • Always work in properly ventilated area and wear appropriate respiratory protection if necessary. Fumes from some caulks and adhesives can be noxious.
  • Only use accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your model. Accessories that may be suitable for one tool may be hazardous when used on another tool. The use of improper accessories may cause risk of injury to persons.
  • Take care not to get caulk or adhesive on battery contact points.
  • Always read and follow all manufacturer’s instructions regarding caulk or adhesive. Failure to do so may result in personal injury.

Electrical safety

  • Always switch off the tool before installing or removing of the battery cartridge.
  • Hold the tool and the battery cartridge firmly when installing or removing battery cartridge. Failure to hold the tool and the battery cartridge firmly may cause them to slip out of your hands and result in damage to the tool, battery cartridge and/or a personal injury. To remove the battery cartridge, slide it from the tool while sliding the button on the front of the cartridge. To install the battery cartridge, align the tongue on the battery cartridge with the groove in the housing and slip it into place. Insert it all the way until it locks in place with a little click. If you can see the red indicator on the upper side of the button, it is not locked completely.

Scope of delivery
The device is designed to be used with the rechargeable battery 2.0Ah type BT- CLB005 (Art. No.7063905) or with type 4.0 Ah BT-CLB006 (Art. No. 7063915). Please note that the rechargeable battery and a charging unit are not included in delivery.

ATTENTION! Danger of damage to the device and battery! If the device is operated with an unsuitable battery, both the device and the battery may be damaged. Only operate the device with the specified rechargeable battery. For charging the rechargeable battery, the charging unit 2.4 A BT-CLC004 (7063688), 4.0 A BT-CLC003 (7063554) or 2.4 A charger BT-CLC005 (7063907) is required.

Before first use

Remove the device and all additional parts out of the packaging. Check all parts for damage in transit and do not use a damaged device. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children. There is risk of suffocation!

Intended use

This caulking gun is designed for dispensing caulking or filling material. It is intended for domestic use and is not designed for commercial, trade or industrial use.

Operation

  1. Press the release button (6) to the left and pull the rack rod back by the handle (7) to the end of the cartridge holder (1).
  2. Put the cartridge onto the cartridge holder.
  3. Press the release button (6) to the left and push the rack rod (7) forward until it is against the back of the cartridge.
  4. Press the release button (6) to the right and press the trigger switch (3) until the material within the cartridge comes out form the nozzle of the conical applicator.
  5. Release the trigger switch (3) to turn off the caulking gun. After the caulking gun is turned off, the rack rod will automatically move backward for a short distance. This prevents the overflow of caulking material.

Trigger switch (variable-speed)
The caulking gun is equipped with a variable speed trigger switch (3). The caulking gun will turn at its slowest speed when the trigger switch is squeezed lightly. The caulking gun will turn at its fastest speed when the trigger switch is squeezed firmly.

Speed regulator

The caulking gun is equipped with an infinitely adjustable speed regulator (2). The material’s rate of flow is controlled by the speed regulator to accommodate various applications.

  1. When starting work, set the speed regulator to the lowest setting 1.
  2. Turn the speed regulator in direction to a higher setting, according to the desired application.

If you set a faster speed at the beginning, the sealant is drained too quickly during operation and stacked on an application surface.

Maintenance and cleaning

WARNING: Always disconnect from the mains power supply, before carrying out any maintenance/ cleaning of the charger. Remove the battery before carrying out any maintenance/ cleaning of the tool.

Maintenance
There are no inner parts of the tool which need maintenance.

Cleaning

  • Keep safety devices, ventilation openings and the motor housing as free as possible from dirt and dust. Rub the electric power tool with a clean cloth or blow over it with low pressure compressed air.
  • We recommend that you clean your electric power tool immediately after each use.
  • Clean the electric power tool regularly with a damp cloth and somewhat soft soap.

Do not use any cleaning or solvent materials; these can attack the device’s plastic components. Make sure that no water can get inside the electric power tool.

Storing

  • Clean the device before storing it.
  • Before storing check all parts for damages.
  • Store the device indoors in dry place that is protected from dust and dirt and extreme temperatures.

Vibration level
The vibration emission level stated in this instruction manual has been measured in accordance with a standardised test given in EN 60745; it may be used to compare one tool with another and as a preliminary assessment of exposure to vibration when using the tool for the applications mentioned

  • using the tool for different applications, or with different or poorly maintained accessories, may significantly increase the exposure level
  • the times when the tool is switched off or when it is running but not actually doing the job, may significantly reduce the exposure level.

Protect yourself against the effects of vibration by maintaining the tool and its accessories, keeping your hands warm, and organizing your work patterns.

Disposal

Do not dispose of electric power tools with domestic refuse.
The electric power tool is shipped in packaging to reduce transport damage. This packaging is a raw material and as such can either be reused or can be fed back into the raw material cycle. The electric power tool and its accessories are made from various materials such as metals and plastics. Take defective components to a special refuse collection point. Batteries
Think of the environment when disposing of batteries. Contact your local authorities to find out where your nearest disposal area is. Do not dispose of batteries with domestic refuse.
