Please read this instruction booklet carefully and completely before installing and using your device.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Keep the appliance and its cable out of the reach of children under 8 years of age. Children must not play with the appliance. Check the supply cord regularly. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Before connecting the unit, make sure that the supply voltage of your unit corresponds to that of your electrical installation. It is essential that your device is connected to an earthed socket outlet.

  • Repairs to electrical appliances must always be carried out by a qualified electrician. Repair by unqualified personnel would expose the user to real danger.

  • Your appliance is intended for domestic use inside your home. It may not be used in a commercial context. Do not use the appliance outside the house.

  • Never immerse the unit or its cord in water or any other liquid. Risk of electric shock.

  • Do not allow the power cord to come in contact with hot surfaces or hang from your work surface within the reach of small children.

  • Make sure that the power cord cannot be accidentally snagged to prevent the unit from falling. Avoid wrapping the cord around the appliance and do not twist it.

  • Place your device on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.

  • Make sure that the cord does not come into contact with the hot surfaces of the unit.

  • Do not leave the unit unattended while it is in operation.

  • CAUTION: Accessible surfaces may become very hot during operation.

  • It is recommended that metal objects such as knives, forks, spoons, and lids not be placed on the stove as they may become hot.

  • Do not use the appliance near a heat source (oven, hotplates, etc.) or near objects sensitive to magnetic fields.

  • Do not touch the hotplate as it may become hot after long use.

  • There must be enough space around the appliance to ensure good ventilation. Do not block the ventilation grilles.

  • Do not move the appliance while it is hot or in use. If you need to move the unit, turn it off, unplug it and wait for it to cool before moving it.

  • Do not move the unit when there is a pan or frying pan on it.

  • Do not place empty pans, metal objects, flammable objects, or objects with low heat resistance on the cooktop.

  • Oil or grease preparations may ignite if overheated. Therefore, use extreme caution.

  •  If you use this appliance under a hood, make sure to observe the minimum distance recommended by the hood manufacturer.

  • If the cooking surface of your appliance is cracked, disconnect it from the power supply to avoid the risk of electric shock and have it examined by a qualified service
    technician.

  •  Always unplug the appliance after each use and unplug it before cleaning.

  • Wait until the unit has cooled down completely before cleaning.

  •  Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than that specified in this user’s guide.

  •  Never pull on the cord to unplug the unit or to move it.

  • Do not handle the unit with wet hands.

  • Do not use an extension cord to connect the unit.

  • For your safety, use only the original accessories supplied with your unit.

  • Do not use the unit if it has been dropped and damaged.
    Contact your dealer.

  • This product should not be connected to an external timer or remote control system.

  •  For details on how to clean surfaces that come into contact with food or oil, refer to the “Cleaning” section below in the user guide.

  • For installation, handling, cleaning, and disposal of the unit refer to the following chapters of the user guide.

In order to reduce energy consumption, remember to switch off the appliance as soon as you have finished using it.

Note: The surface remains hot after use, do not touch it.
Warning: If the surface is broken, switch off the appliance. Risk of electric shock.
IMPORTANT
The electric induction cooker only works when a suitable induction utensil is placed on it! When there is no pan on the stove, the appliance will shut off immediately for safety reasons. Always test your pots and pans in advance with a magnet – if the magnet sticks, they are suitable.
Information on the meaning of the conformity marking
The marking **indicates that the product meets the main requirements of European Directives 2014/35/EU (Low Voltage), 2014/30/EU (Electromagnetic Compatibility), 2011/65/EU (Reduction of the use of certain hazardous substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment )**.

OPERATION

Switching on the plate :
After plugging the plug into the socket, a “beep” will sound and the LED above the On/Off button will start flashing. The LED display shows “C” indicating that the unit is connected to a power source.
Place a suitable cooking utensil in the center of the cooking area. Press the ON/OFF button once, and the LED display will show the word ‘ON’, and the indicator above  N/OFF will remain lit. Press the corresponding function keys to start. To stop the baking tray and enter standby mode, press the ON/OFF button after cooking.
Cooking mode :

  1. Power: Press the Function button once, the number 1600 will appear representing the default power. The power can be adjusted by pressing +/- to set the desired power.  There are 10 power levels for the left burner in total (200,400 ,600 ,800 ,1000 ,1200 ,1400 ,1600 ,1800 ,2000W). To cancel this mode, press the Function key to switch to other functions or the On/Off key to stop.
  2. Temperature: Press the Function key twice, the temperature of 200°C will be displayed, representing the default temperature. The temperature can be adjusted by pressing  +/- to set the desired temperature. There are 10 temperature levels in total (60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160,180, 200, 220, 240 ). To cancel this mode, press the Function button to switch to other functions or the On/Off button to stop it.

Timer function :
The user can set the cooking time when the temperature and power are selected. Press the Timer button once and the indicator light will come on. The display shows the default time: 10 minutes, the user can press the [+] or [-] button to set the desired time; [+] or [-] can set the minutes in 1-minute increments. And if you hold down the [+] or  [-] key for a while, the minutes can be adjusted in 10-minute increments. The time can be set from 1 minute to 240 minutes. After setting, the user can press the Timer button once to confirm or wait for the display to stop flashing. After the beep, the unit will switch off and automatically go into standby mode at the end of the countdown. To cancel this function, the user can either press the [On/Off] button to return to standby mode or hold down the Timer button.

Child lock function :
To prevent children from accidentally turning on the cooktop or changing cooking parameters, press the Lock button for a few seconds. The Lock indicator lights up and the cooktop does not react to changes in power level, temperature, or timer. You can press the Lock key either while the cooktop is on or when it is off. When the lockout is activated, the only button that will work is the On/Off button. To cancel the safety lock, press and hold the lock button for at least 3 seconds, the light will go out and the
the function will be canceled.
Selecting the cooking utensil
Materials required :
Steel, cast iron, enameled cast iron, stainless steel, and flat-bottomed frying pans/pans with a diameter between 12 and 26 cm. The pan/pan must be suitable for an induction hob.
Remarks
The fan continues to run for as long as it takes to cool the unit.
Use appliances suitable for induction cooking.
Use your appliance under normal temperature and humidity conditions.
Center the cooking appliances on the cooktop.
**** Do not place metal objects on the cooktop.
Never heat an appliance when it is empty.
Do not touch the cooktop, as it remains hot after use. Wait until the appliance has cooled down completely.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

After each use, turn off the power and unplug the unit. Let it cool before cleaning.
Warning: Never immerse the unit or its cord in water or other liquids.
The danger of electric shock.
Wipe the cooktop surface with a soft cloth. If necessary, you can use a cleaner specific to induction hobs.
Warning: Never use abrasive or flammable cleaners to clean the cooktop.
Store the appliance in a dry place.

FAILURES AND SOLUTIONS

Failures Checkpoints Solutions

After connecting the unit and pressing the on/off button, the plate does not react.| Is there a power failure? Did the fuses break?
Is the appliance plugged into a working outlet?| Reconnect after power is restored.
Check the causes of the power outage.
If the problem persists, contact the distributor’s after-sales service.
The plate stops during use and a beep are emitted.| Is the utensil used compatible with an induction cooker?
Is the utensil properly centered on the cooking area?
Is the utensil suddenly removed from the hob?| Use a utensil that is suitable for induction hobs.
Center the utensil in the cooking area without removing it.
No possibility to use the functions during operation.| Is the utensil empty or is the temperature too high?
Is the fan grill obstructed?
Has the cooktop been running for more than 2 hours without instructions?| Check that the utensil is being used correctly.
Remove anything that may be obstructing the fan grill.
Reset the cooking mode or timer.
The plate will operate again as soon as it has cooled down.
Displaying error codes| EO: no utensils or cooking utensils not suitable for induction hobs
El: IGBT sensor open/short circuit
E2: Internal overheating
E3: Overvoltage
E4: Undervoltage
E5: Top plate sensor

E6: Top plate overheating| If error signals EO, E2, and E6 are displayed, check whether the cookware is suitable for induction hobs or restarts the appliance after it has cooled down naturally.

GUARANTEE

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS :
The warranty does not cover worn parts of the product, nor problems or damage resulting from :

  1. superficial deterioration due to normal wear and tear of the product ;
  2. defects or damage due to contact of the product with food or liquids and due to corrosion caused by rust;
  3. any incident, abuse, improper use, unauthorized modification, disassembly, or repair;
  4. any improper maintenance, use not in accordance with the instructions for the product, or connection to an incorrect voltage;
  5. any use of accessories not supplied or approved by the manufacturer.

The warranty will be void if the nameplate and/or the serial number of the product is missing.
DISPOSAL
This appliance bears the selective sorting symbol for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
This means that this product must be taken to a separate collection system in accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU in order to be either dismantled or recycled, thus reducing the impact on the environment.
For more information, you can contact your local (town hall) or regional administration.
Electronic products that have not been sorted are potentially dangerous for the environment due to the presence of hazardous substances.
Under no circumstances should you dispose of this device on the public highway.
