Installation

  1. Using a screwdriver, remove the screw on the side of the access button and separate the mounting bracket from the button’s main body.
  2. Once you have chosen the installation location, make holes in the wall near the holes on the mounting bracket. Secure the wall mounting bracket with the screws.
  3. Make the wire connections.
  4. Attach the body of the access button to the mounting bracket and retighten the side screw.

CERTIFICATE OF QUALITY AND COMMERCIAL WARRANT Y
TERM OF WARRANTY:
The products identified in this certificate based on the trade name and the sole series number S/N benefit from a commercial warranty as follows: The warranty period for natural persons is 24 months as of the delivery date for the manufacturing and material defects. The warranty period for legal entities is 12 months as of the delivery date for the manufacturing and material defects.
The cables, adaptors, consumables, batteries, accumulators, battery chargers, transformers, microphones, earphones, and aerials that are part of the products or are delivered with them shall have a commercial warranty of 6 months as of the date of the product sale to the end consumer. The term of warranty shall be calculated as of the invoicing date of each product individually. The average term of the product service life is 48 months subject to compliance with the assembly and operation instructions accompanying the product.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS:
In accordance with the legal warranty, the seller shall be held liable against the consumer for any missing conformity existing at the time where the products were delivered. The consumer should inform the seller of any missing conformity within months as of the date of ascertaining it. Until proven otherwise, the missing conformity encountered within 12 months of the product delivery is considered as having existed upon its delivery time, unless the presumption is incompatible to the nature of the product or the missing conformity. Following the product detection after the first 12 months as of the purchase fate, as the non-conformity is not presumed any longer, the proof for its existence shall be in the consumer´s charge. In case of the missing conformity, the consumer shall be entitled to claim to the seller, as a remedy, in this sequence: the product repair, the product replacement without any payment – unless the claim is impossible or disproportional – or the return of the product counter-value, in accordance with the legal provisions and without any additional cost for the buyer.  The return of the product’s counter-value shall be made at the value fixed as per the contract. The supplier shall have
the same obligations for the replaced product as for the initially sold product. There shall not be considered as missing conformity if, upon the execution of the sale and purchase contract, the consumer was aware or could not reasonably be aware of such missing conformity. In case of any latent defects encountered during the average service life, the consumer shall be entitled to claim the remedy or the replacement of the products which may not be used for the purpose for which they were realized.
DEFECT LIABILITY PERIOD:
The defect liability period of the deficiencies encountered on products shall be maximum 15 calendar days as of their receiving in service. The downtime shall extend accordingly to the warranty term and shall elapse as of the registration time in the service unit and up to the time when the product is returned to conformity by remedy or replacement by a compliant product. The warranty assurance shall be made at the supplier´s working point located in Piatra Neamț, 26A Olteniei Street.

The product shipping to any service shall be made only after obtaining an RMA number after the customer filling-in in the RMA form from http://rma.pni.ro or via the courier agreed by the supplier. In order to benefit from the warranty, the product should be submitted as accompanied by the warranty certificate, the purchase invoice or the fiscal receipt, and all accessories it was delivered and the parcel should be provided with the RMA number received from the supplier.
LOSS OF WARRANTY:
The following situations shall determine the loss of warranty:

  • Missing intact labels or warranty seals;
  • Non – authorized interventions including repairs executed by persons or entities non-authorized by the manufacturer;
  • The buyer´s failure to comply with the handling, transport, storage, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance conditions provided in the documentation accompanying the product or under the conditions contravening the technical standards of Romania;
  • The thermal, mechanical, and plastic damages of the products due to hits, exposures to heat sources, fires, accidents, vibrations, bad weather conditions or negligence in operation;
  • The use of batteries, sources of battery charger or accessories other than those approved by the manufacturer;
  • The product has traces of food products, contact with liquid whatsoever (water, solvents, oils, paints, acids, etc.), and this contact is proven by traces of oxidation or by the present liquids on any surface of the product:
  • The discrepancy between the serial number listed on the certificate and that listed on the product;
  • The use for purposes other than those for which it was designed (the products are intended only for domestic uses);
  • The use of the products under inappropriate conditions: inappropriate supply voltage, moisture, dust. The seller shall not be held liable for any problems of compatibility with the accessories purchased from other companies. Also, we shall take no liability for the subassemblies which are used on systems that are not consistent, and perform, with the manufacturer’s specifications.

Our company shall take no liability for any losses of data, pictures, shootings, or software that might occur as a result of any defects; therefore, we insist on the need to provide back-up for any important data upon the time of claiming warranty for a product presumed as a defect.
The commercial warranty shall not impair the consumer rights provided by the applicable legislation in force, namely Emergency Government Ordinance 140/28.12.2021 on certain issues related to contracts for the sale of goods, the Government Ordinance 21/1992 on consumer protection as subsequently amended, and supplemented by Law 296/2004 on the consumption code as subsequently amended and supplemented. In the capacity of the buyer, I declare having been informed that the seller processes personal data. At the same time, I was informed that for any further details I can access the Confidentiality Policy section on www. pie.ro This item shall not be thrown in the trash, it should be handed over to an authorized center for WEEE (waste of electrical and electronic equipment) taking –over.
