- Ensure that the power cord does not hang loosely over the edge of a work surface.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors or on a damp surface: there is a risk of electric shock.
- Do not use with any accessories other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not use the appliance if either the power cord or plug is damaged. Have them repaired immediately by an authorized service center.

- Never pull on the cable when disconnecting the unit from the mains. Hold the plug and pull it to disconnect.
- Ensure adequate ventilation when using the appliance.
- Do not place any other objects on the appliance.
- Be careful not to drop the appliance or subject it to strong impacts.
- The product is covered by a two-year warranty, unless otherwise stated. The warranty does not cover damage caused by abnormal use, mechanical damage, exposure to extreme conditions or actions contrary to the recommendations in the manual, as well as damage due to normal wear and tear.

BEFORE USE
- When the inner pot is not inside or the appliance is not in use, make sure the power cord is always unplugged from the mains.
- The „WARM“ function can only be used when the appliance is switched on.
- Insert the inner pot. Turn it slightly to the left and right to make sure it is seated properly.
- If it is difficult to move the switch to the „COOK“ position, do not use force. This problem occurs if the inner pot is not inserted correctly, is too heavy or the appliance has just finished cooking.
- Place the lid on the inner pot each time you use a cooking program. After serving, place the lid back on the inner pot to prevent any remaining rice from drying out.
- Keep the bottom of the inner pot and the surface of the heating plate free of foreign objects and dirt.
MAINTENANCE
- Remove the inner pot and lid, and wash them in warm soapy water, making sure to rinse both parts properly. Then dry them with a towel or soft cloth.
- Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. Never clean any part of the appliance with an abrasive cleaner. Use a damp cloth or sponge and mild dishwashing detergent. Wash only the inner pot and lid. Do not immerse any part of the cooker in water.
- Use the abrasive side of a sponge to clean the heating plate and remove residue. Then wipe with a damp cloth. Allow it to dry completely before using it again. The heating plate must be kept clean to prevent the cooker from malfunctioning.
- Improper cleaning of the heating plate can cause unpleasant odours.
- Any residue of vinegar or salt can cause corrosion on the inner pot.
USING THE RICE COOKER
- Place the appliance on a dry, level surface.
- Before cooking, rinse the rice in water to remove excess starch. The rice is ready for cooking when the water runs clear.
- Using the measuring cup provided, measure out the required amount of rice. Fill the measuring cup to the brim.
- Before inserting the inner pot into the device, make sure that the outer surface is clean and dry. This ensures perfect contact between the outer and inner vessel.
- Before cooking, clean the bottom of the outer container and the surface of the heating plate. Make sure that the inner pot is properly inserted in the device, otherwise the device will not function properly and could get damaged.
- Cover the cooker with the lid.
- Plug the cable into an electrical outlet.
- Move the main switch to the „ON“ position.
- When cooking is completed, the Keep Warm function is activated and the „WARM“ light comes on.
Note: The appliance is equipped with a safety switch that cuts the power supply to the heating plate in the event of overheating and switches the power back on when the heating plate has cooled down.
TIP: The normal ratio of rice to water is 1 part rice to 1.0/1.2/1.5 parts water. However, it depends on the type of rice. Please adjust the amount of water as per the instructions on the rice package.
Add salt and spices to taste before cooking.
