071971 Honda VFR1200F & VFR1200X Hugger Fitting Instructions
- Kit Includes:
- 2X CBOLM60020 M6 X 20mm Hex Head Bolts
- 1X 2X CBOLM60011 M6 X 25mm Flanged Button Head Bolt
- 2X CWASM60001 M6 Flat Steel Washers
- 2X CWASM60004 M6 Large Plastic Washers
- 1X CSPAM60011Black Spacer 6.3mm D X 15mm OD X 7.5mm
- Remove rear wheel. (It you don’t have a center or paddock stand; if is possible, with care, for jack the bike up against the bottom linkage as shown in picture).
- Undo the bold which fixes the plastic molding on fop of swing arm and insert the black spacer (CSPAM60011) into the recess.
- Remove grey plastics plugs from the two drilled and faced holes in the swing arms vertical face.
- Loosely attach the Hugger using the two M6 X 20mm Hex Head Bolts (CBOLM60020) with an M6 Flat Steel Washer (CWASM60001) under the bolt head and an Mo Large Plastic washer (CWASM60004) on each mounting bolt between the Outer Hugger face and the swimgingarm – to act as a spacer.
- Use the M6 X 25mm Flanged Button Head Bolt (CBOLM60011) for fix the Hugger on top of the swing arm. ensuring the spacer provided (CSPA60011) is between the Hugger fab and the plastic molding.
- Fully tighten all three mounting points and re-fit the rear wheel.
