Fitting Instructions

Fitting – NO PARTS ARE REMOVED OR MODIFIED ON THE STANDARD BIKE

  • Place cardboard or material under the bike to avoid scratching the Pyramid belly pan during installation. A bike ramp will make installation easier.
  • Apply a single layer of electrical insulation tape or something similar to the frame down tubes to avoid scratching the paint.
  • Loosely attach four brackets as shown in Fig 1 + Fig 2. The M10 X 50mm socket cap bolts secure the two smaller rear brackets via the pre-drilled holes in the engine casting.
  • Now install the four rubber grommets and steel collars into the pre-drilled holes in the Pyramid belly pan.
  • Fully tighten the rear brackets (left and right side). Attach the Pyramid belly pan loosely to these brackets.
  • With the forward brackets loosely positioned on the frame as shown below, attach the Pyramid belly pan to these brackets.
  • Make final adjustments and fully tighten all fasteners – Note: the forward clamp brackets should be tightened last.
  • Be sure to check fixings periodically
