Operations
ON/OFF
Main Switch: Click to turn ON at HIGH output, Long press over 0.8S to
turn OFF.
Output Levels
Main Switch: Click to turn ON at HIGH output.
Press to change output in the order of Medium Low High Repeat
Lockout/Unlock
Unscrew the tail cap by half-turn to cut off the circuit, and screw it back to
unlock. (Recommend to lockout the flashlight when it is stored, carried or
transported for a long period of time).
Capacity Indicator
The indicator lamp will display the battery capacity for 5 seconds after
powering ON.
Green: 30% – 100% (automatically turn-off after 5 seconds)
Red: 10% 30% (constant on)
Red Flashing: <10% (Constant red flash@2HZ)
Battery Installation
Before initial use, twist off the tail cap and pull out the insulating strip, screw the tail cap and start to use it.
- Remove the tail cap
- Insert battery with positive terminal towards the front of the lamp
- Re-install the tail cap, and make sure it is screwed on securely
Recharging
A2 Pro uses Type-C USB charging and is compatible with any USB Type-C cable, wall charger, or car charger.
Recharging Indicator
- Red: Charging
- Green: Fully Charged
Intelligent Temperature Adjustment System
When the output mode is in HIGH, the flashlight will automatically adjust the output based on the internal temperature of the flashlight body and its components. This protects the LED and battery, also increases long-term user comfort.
Usage and Maintenance
- During use, the flashlight’s surface temperature will increase, especially when higher lumen output. The maximum safe operating surface temperature of the flashlight is 60°C/140°F.
- Please fully charge the battery before initial use. The included battery is charged to less than 50% as a safety measure and will not power the flashlight at full output and standard runtime.
- To maintain a waterproof rating, please lubricate the O-ring with silicone-safe lubricant and replace worn O-rings as needed.
- Do not make the eyes contact directly with light.
- Do not disassemble or modify this flashlight which can cause damage and will void the warranty.
- For long-term storage, remove the battery and store in a cool and dry place.
- Recommend charging the battery per 3 months.
Warranty
KLARUS guarantees the flashlight against defects in material and workmanship.
Flashlight products that are found to be defective under normal use within 1
years of the purchase date will be repaired or replaced without charge.
Klarus offers a 1-year warranty for all rechargeable batteries.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
If problems develop after 1 year from the date of purchase, KLARUS will charge for parts and repairs. The total repair fee will be assessed according to the cost of the replacement materials. If damage to the light is substantial, KLARUS will contact the customer via the dealer with a quote.
Warranty Procedure
If this flashlight does not perform as specified, the product will be repaired
or replaced as described above.
Please contact your original KLARUS dealer for replacement and repairs.
If the warranty issue cannot be resolved by the dealer, please contact KLARUS at service@klaruslight.com for assistance. Please provide the following information to expedite the process:
- List the serial number on the light.
- Include a detailed description identifying the issue, accompanied by pictures or a short video demonstration if necessary.
- Provide the name and store of the dealer you made the purchase from; and a copy of the proof of purchase.
