SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

  • Read all instructions.

  • To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put appliance in water or other liquid.

  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are closely supervised and instructed concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

  • Turn the appliance OFF, then unplug from the outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.

  • Flashing lights indicate the blender is ready to operate. Avoid any contact with blades or movable parts. Do not attempt to remove or bypass any safety interlock mechanisms.

  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact the manufacturer at their
    customer service telephone number for information on examination, repair, or adjustment.

  • Do not use outdoors

  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.

  • Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but must be used only when the blender is not running.

  • Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutter-assembly blades on base without jar properly attached.

  • Always operate blender with cover in place.

  • The use of attachments, including canning jars, not recommended by the manufacturer may cause a risk of injury to persons.

  • For close-top jar assembly, risk of thermal burn injury due to excessive pressure in the container. Do not blend hot liquids.

  • For open-top jar assembly, when blending hot liquids, remove center piece of two-piece cover.

  • This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
    To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

  • Changes or modifications of this product is not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

  • This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

  • This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. 6. OPERATION

Using the Blender with the Main Blender Jar

1. Make sure that you start with a clean jar before use.

NOTE
The blender doesn’t have the functionality of heating up liquid directly inside it. Hot soup program means that the blender is capable of mixing the hot soup/liquid that is put inside without breaking the jar.

4. Set the takeaway jar on the blender base and Rotate it clockwise until it locks into position.
5. Plug in the blender.

WARNING
The blender can’t be turned on unless the jar is perfectly fitted on the blender base.

Disposal

This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that the product may not be treated as household waste. To recycle your product, please take it to an official collection point or to an Electrolux service center that can remove and recycle the battery and electric parts in a safe and professional way. Follow your country’s rules for the separate collection of electrical products and rechargeable batteries.

WARRANTY

Your appliance is covered by a one year limited warranty. For one year from your original date of purchase, Electrolux will pay all costs for repairing or replacing any parts of this appliance that prove to be defective in materials or workmanship when such appliance is installed, used and maintained in accordance with the provided instructions.

Exclusions
This warranty does not cover the following:
Products with original serial numbers that have been removed, altered or cannot be readily determined.
Product that has been transferred from its original owner to another party or removed outside the USA or Canada.
Products purchased “as-is” are not covered by this warranty.
Products used in a commercial setting.
Service calls which do not involve malfunction or defects in materials or workmanship, or for appliances not in ordinary household use or used other than in accordance with the provided instructions.
Damages caused by: services performed by unauthorized service companies; use of parts other than genuine Electrolux parts or parts obtained from persons other than authorized service companies; or external causes such as abuse, misuse, inadequate power supply, accidents, fires, or acts of God.

CUSTOMER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED HEREIN. If You Need Service
Keep your receipt, delivery slip, or some other appropriate payment record to establish the warranty period should service be required. If service is performed, it is in your best interest to obtain and keep all receipts. Service under this warranty must be obtained by contacting Electrolux at the addresses or phone numbers below.

This warranty only applies in the USA, Puerto Rico and Canada. In the USA and Puerto Rico, your appliance is warranted by Electrolux Major Appliances North America, a division of Electrolux Home Products, Inc. In Canada, your appliance is warranted by Electrolux Canada Corp. Electrolux authorizes no person to change or add to any obligations under this warranty. Obligations for service and parts under this warranty must be performed by Electrolux or an authorized service company. Product features or specifications as described or illustrated are subject to change without notice.
