I-1. Insert the PCIe Adapter
I-1-1. Before inserting the PCIe Adapter, turn off your computer and unplug the power cord. Once the computer is power off, remove the case panel.
Ensure the power is off before you move on I-1-2.
I-1-2. Insert the PCIe Adapter into the desktop PCIe slot. To use the Bluetooth function, connect the included USB Bluetooth header  connector cable to the mother board and PCIe Adapter respectively.

I-1-3. There are 2 ways to connect the external antennas.

  1. Connect the antennas to the PCIe Adapter directly.
  2. Connect the external antennas with the included magnetic antenna base.

I-1-4. Reattach the case panel and power-on your computer.
I-2. Download & Install the Driver

  1. Please access the link below. Search the model name in the search box and download the driver.

  2. Unzip the downloaded file and run the setup.exe. After following the instructions to complete the installation procedures, restart the computer.EDIMAX EW-7833AXP Dual Band 802.11ax and Bluetooth - downloaded file and run

I-3. Connect or Pair
I-3-1. Connect to the Wi-Fi Network

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon on the windows taskbar to connect to the Wi-Fi network. The Wi-Fi icon might be different depending on your OS versions.
    (Refer to II. FAQ -> Q2)

    Double-click the Bluetooth icon and select “Add Bluetooth or other device”. Select the Bluetooth device from the list. Follow the instructions to complete the Bluetooth pairing. (If the Bluetooth icon doesn’t appear, refer to II. FAQ -> Q3)

To activate Bluetooth without problems, please disable all existing Bluetooh devices first. (Refer to II. FAQ -> Q1)

Q1. How to disable the existing Bluetooth device?****

– A. Right-click the Windows Start button , and select the “Device Manager”. Expand all the Bluetooth devices. Right-click on target device and disable the bluetooth device one by one.

Q2. After the driver is installed, why is the Wi-Fi icon not displayed on the Windows taskbar?

– A. For Windows 7, please right-click “Date and Time” at the taskbar, and select “Properties”. Find the system item “Network”, set the behaviors as “On”. Then the Wi-Fi icon will be displayed on the Windows Taskbar.

Q3. Why the Bluetooth icon doesn’t display on the Window taskbar?

– A1. Click Windows Start button , and click “Setting” , select “Device and other setting”, and set the stauts as “On” to enable the bluetooth service.
– A2. If the Bluetooth icon still doesn’t appear, you may need to install the driver and try again. Please go to section I-2, to download and install the driver and try again.
