ENERON CHARGING GUIDELINES
Eneron comes with a built-in rechargeable battery and is shipped in Deep Sleep mode from the factory. To activate it, simply press the large button. To recharge Eneron, use the included charging cable and connect it to a USB port on your desktop computer, laptop, or any other 5V USB charger. Keep in mind that using a charger with a voltage higher than the recommended can cause damage to the device. Therefore, it is important to use only the specified voltage.
Eneron is designed to operate for an extended period of time, up to one year, without requiring charging. The mobile app displays the amount of charge remaining, and sends notifications when it’s time to recharge the device. To charge Eneron, connect the USB power cable to a power source like a computer, power bank, or power adapter. The green LED light on the device indicates the charging status. For more information on the LED status, please refer to the section below.

SETTING UP THE DEVICE (ON MOBILE DEVICE ONLY)
Here are the steps to follow for setting up your Eneron device with the Eneron app:
- Make sure that your mobile device has Wi-Fi functionality and internet access, as Eneron requires an internet connection to connect to the cloud. If necessary, enable the Wi-Fi option in your phone settings.
- Download and install the Eneron application on your smartphone from either the App Store or Google Play.
- Launch the Eneron app.
- Take Eneron and the USB cable out of the box.
- Eneron comes in Deep Sleep mode, and to activate it, press the large button on the device. Once activated, the blue LED on the device will flash, and a ringtone will play, indicating that it is ready for use.
- If you are a first-time user, create your user account on the mobile app and add the location where Eneron will be used.
- Follow the wizard on your mobile app to add your device. The setup process includes pairing the device to your machine, adding it to your Wi-Fi network, entering machine information (such as voltage and phase counts), and performing a calibration procedure. The app will guide you through the process. Please note that Android or iOS app upgrades may require a new pairing in the future.
- BEFORE PERFORMING CALIBRATION, TURN ON THE MACHINE AND ALLOW IT TO RUN IDLE FOR A FEW MINUTES. Make sure the machine is not in production to obtain a stable calibration! After pairing, your device will be saved, and you will not have to repeat the procedure.
BUTTONS ON THE DEVICE
Eneron has two buttons that are essential for its operation. The tactile button, also known as the “Big Button,” is easily accessible and serves various purposes, including:
- Waking up the device to transmit data to the cloud
- Activating and deactivating analytic mode, which streams real-time data every second
- Activating Deep Sleep mode for storage and transportation
- Re-calibration
- Firmware updates
All of these functions can be activated from the mobile app with a button confirmation.
On the other hand, the hidden button is used for:
- Power reset by pressing and holding it for more than 10 seconds until a sound is heard
- Factory reset by short pressing 1t immediately after the big button, which resets W1-F1 to access point. This does not delete the device from the app.
Both of these functions can also be activated from the mobile app with a button confirmation.
*To perform a power reset using the hidden button, simply press and hold it for more than 10 seconds until you
hear a sound. Similarly, to perform a factory reset, press both buttons for
more than 10 seconds until a sound is
heard. Note that both of these functions can also be activated from the mobile
app with a button confirmation.
LED INDICATORS ON DEVICE
The device features two LED indicators, one colored green and the other blue.
-
The blue LED is multifunctional. It flashes once per second to signify that the device is paired and the Wi-Fi is operational. When the blue LED is illuminated, it means that the device is not yet paired (in Access point mode), but the Wi-Fi is enabled.
a. Blue
-
The green LED acts as a charging indicator when the device is linked to a USB cable. When the LED is on, it indicates that the battery is charging. When the LED is off, it means that the battery is fully charged, and when it blinks, there may be an issue with either the battery or the charger.
b. Green
