When shutting down a PC, please switch to the other PC before the power shuts down.
Notes:

  1. Each USB port is purpose specific. Plug your USB keyboard into the keyboard port and your USB mouse into the mouse port as indicated by the symbols on the KVM switch.

  2. You can use a keyboard-hub (USB keyboard port).

  3. You cannot attach other USB devices to the KVM switch. If you’re using a keyboard-hub. DO NOT plug other USB devices into it.

  4. Before you turn on a computer, connect it to the KVM switch. Also make sure that the mouse, keyboard and computer screen are plugged Into the KVM switch.

  5. DO NOT use the KVM hardware switch button or hot keys to switch between computers before the mouse and keyboard are activated. If you do. you may lose keyboard and mouse control. Two helpful notes:
    A. When restarting a computer, hot keys are the better way to switch between computers.
    B. When plugging a keyboard or mouse in or out, hot keys are the better way to switch between computers.

  6. To wake a PC up from sleep mode, press F12 on the keyboard or move the mouse.
