Introduction
LIFX Nightvision, please. It is a strong ally in home security. Infrared security cameras’ night vision is dramatically improved. It has billions of colors in addition, and industry-leading integrations
BENEFITS
ENHANCE YOUR HOME SECURITY
Although infrared light cannot be seen by the human eye, security cameras adore it. Automatically extend camera vision once it gets dark.
ABLE TO RESIST THE OUTDOORS
Rain or hail does not frighten us. According to its IP65 rating, the BR30 can operate in temperatures ranging from -22°F to 104°F.
BRIGHT ENOUGH TO FILL ANY ROOM
On the market, our lights are among the brightest and most colorful. This bulb can be powerful whether it’s in a lamp or the ceiling (or dim all the way to 1 %!)
BOOST YOUR SECURITY ANYWHERE
Put your bulb in the ceiling and utilize infrared to increase your camera’s night vision, whether it is a baby camera or a pet camera, so you can sleep soundly and not miss a thing.
MAKE THE MOST OF OUR SMARTS
Your lights may blink when your Uber comes, change when the weather changes, and much more through partner connections like IFTTT or home assistants.
HOW TO RESET
- When the light is originally on, power cycle it five times while you wait a short while.
- The light will then flash in the following order: dim warm white, medium warm white, bright/cool warm white, and then stop on white to indicate that it has been reset.
FAQs
Does this light give off heat?
No, it shouldn’t.
If I set this up via Wi-Fi, then take it to a place without Wi-Fi, will it follow the schedule?
I haven’t personally tried, but I don’t think so. To my understanding, LIFX remotely pushes the scheduled changes when they should occur. You can make changes to the schedule, even if the lights are not connected, so it would follow that the schedule is not actually stored on the light.
Does this light sync with music?
Yes.
Will this work with a Hue Bridge?
No.
Does this have an IR mode only?
The IR light is not on at the same time as the visible light. When the main light is off, you can set the IR light power from 0-100% in 25% increments.
What does BR30 on a light bulb stand for?
Manufacturers designate the size of the bulb using standard numbers as PAR30 or BR30. The number represents the lamp portion’s diameter, not the bulb’s base.
How do you read the label on a lightbulb?
The number corresponds to the bulb’s eighth-inch diameter, and the letter denotes the bulb’s form.
What causes light bulbs to fail too soon?
The voltage in your home is too high, which is the most serious reason why your light bulbs constantly going out. Your home’s voltage may be too high if you find that several light bulbs in various rooms are going out regularly or at the same time.
Can you dim all BR30 bulbs?
Since BR30 LED bulbs are actual electronic devices, they are not as straightforward. They are not inherently compatible with dimmer systems unless specialist electronic circuits are built into the bulb.
LIFX is allowed in bathrooms.
As long as the bathroom is properly ventilated to prevent moisture buildup from steam or other sources, you should be alright using these lights there.
Is LIFX superior to Philips Hue?
The Lifx bulbs are the best alternative since they are simpler to install, more affordable, and offer the broadest selection of color and brightness options. Just bear in mind that for the greatest results, your home must have adequate Wi-Fi coverage.
What is going on with my Lifx light?
Switch the lightbulb on and off. Try power cycling your router, the bulb, and waiting another minute or two if it still isn’t back after about 60 seconds.
The LIFX lights won’t connect to my Wi-Fi; why?
Wi-Fi Network and 5G Wi-Fi) Verify that your network is using a 2.4GHz channel between 1 and 11 for broadcasting.
How do LIFX day and night operate?
Day & Dusk automates your lights to replicate the changing color temperatures of the sun throughout the day based on a schedule.
Why does my smart bulb always lose connectivity?
Disconnecting smart lights could be caused by overcrowded Wi-Fi, a weak signal, a network security problem, obsolete firmware, or just a bug.
