How to setup
Open the Alexa app and enable the LIFX skill. Follow the steps in the app to create and link your LIFX account to Alexa.
Note: Alexa and LIFX must both be connected to the same 2.4 Ghz network.
Screw in. After a minute, Alexa will let you know the bulb is found If nothing happens, say: “Alexa, discover devices”
Enjoy. Use the LIFX or Alexa apps to name your light and access more features.
How to connect to Wi-Fi
Go to “My Networks” and choose your light, then return to the LIFX App. (Wait while the light and your device are connected.) Then, hit the “Green Button” in the bottom right corner after choosing your Wi-Fi network. Enter the Wi-Fi security key.
How to Reset
5 times, or until the light blinks, turn on and off your light at the switch. Your light has been reset when it starts to blink.

Of course.
will this work as a stove vent light?
Should. I’m not too hot on LIFX these days. Wait until the new owner shakes out issues and Apple releases iOS 16.2 w/ HomeKit architecture improvements.
Will this fit into a night light bulb socket?
We have a lamp with a star night light portion. The bulb did fit.
How do you reconnect the bulb to WIFI if you threw away the packaging and lost the QR code?
On Android you can add the bulb via the LIFX App without any packaging or QR Codes. On iOS you are prompted to use the HomeKit code. This is printed in the booklet and also on the bulb itself (HK:### ## ###). If you can’t access the bulb or read the code, you can turn the bulb on and wait for 15 minutes and then onboard the bulb without the HomeKit code. Just follow the steps in the LIFX App for adding a new device.
Do these support Homekit adaptive lighting?
As of 03/25/2021, LIFX Candle White to Warm E12 bulbs do not support Homekit Adaptive Lighting.
Why isn’t my LIFX light working?
Your device’s app must be closed via force. Check to determine if the light is actually accessible to finish connection by reopening the LIFX app. Please reset the light and try setup again after waiting about two minutes after reset if the aforementioned steps do not resolve the problem.
Does LIFX function offline?
