SymbolsCare & maintenance

  1. Turn off the microwave and remove the power plug from the wall socket before cleaning.

  2. Keep the inside of the oven cavity clean. Remove food splatters or spilt liquids promptly with a well wrung damp cloth.
Avoid the use of spray cleaners or abrasives as they may stain or damage the surface.

  3. The outside surfaces should be cleaned with a well wrung damp cloth and dried with a soft dry cloth.
Do not allow moisture to enter the ventilation openings.

  4. Do not use a steam cleaner on this appliance.

  5. Moisture may condense on the oven during use because of steam or high humidity. This is normal and should be removed with a soft dry cloth.

  6. Remove the glass platter and roller ring regularly and clean in warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly. Ensure the cavity floor is clean and dry before replacing carefully.

  7. To remove odours from your microwave, slice a lemon in half and squeeze the juice into a microwaveable bowl.
Add the lemon halves to the bowl. Add half a cup of water and microwave on full power for 3 minutes or until the water boils. Let stand for 5 minutes for the steam to soften dried on food. Then remove the bowl, platter and roller ring and wipe thoroughly with a dry soft cloth to remove the residue.

  8. If the internal cavity light fails, please contact the Customer Services helpline to arrange an engineer visit – DO NOT attempt to replace this yourself.
