DESCRIPTION
Modular installation (electromagnetic) contactor is an element used in automation and control of domestic and industrial installations. The contactor is most often used when there is a need to control higher load currents of an electric energy receiver. It provides galvanic separation between the control system and the load.
CONNECTION
INSTALLATION
- Disconnect the power circuit with the fuse, circuit breaker, or switch disconnector connected to the appropriate circuit.
- Use a suitable instrument to check the voltage-free condition of the power cables.
- Install the contactor in the switchboard on the DIN rail (TH 35).
- Connect the cables with the terminals in accordance with the connection diagram.
- Switch on the power circuit.
The device, after applying the supply voltage to terminals A1, A2 – through
the control system – changes the state of the contactor contacts to the
opposite.
After disconnecting the voltage on terminals A1, A2, the device returns to the
original state of the contactor outputs.
The appliance must be connected to a single-phase electrical power supply in accordance with the applicable standards. The method of connection is specified in this manual. Installation, connection, and adjustment activities should be performed by qualified electricians who are familiar with the manual and the device’s features. Disassembly of the housing shall void the warranty and create a risk of electric shock. Before starting the installation make sure that there is no voltage on power cables. The correct operation may be affected by how the product is transported, stored, and used. Installation of the product is not recommended in the following cases: missing components, damage to the product, or deformation of the product. In case of malfunction contact the manufacturer.
Do not dispose of this device together with other waste! To avoid harmful effects on the environment and human health, used up device should be stored in designated areas. Electrical waste from households may be handed over to the waste collector established for this purpose free of charge and in any amount, as well as to the store when purchasing new equipment.
