Intended use

The Nedis KAWK310EWT | KAWK310EGY is an electric water kettle for boiling water. The product is intended for indoor use only. This product is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as kitchen areas. Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

Safety instructions

WARNING

  • Only use the product as described in this manual.
  • Keep the product out of reach from children.
  • This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Never fill the kettle over the “max”. Otherwise hot water can spatter out of the base.
  • Connect to a grounded outlet only.
  • Unplug the product when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Do not unplug the charger by pulling on the cable. Always grasp the plug and pull.
  • Do not use the product if the surface is cracked.
  • Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective device immediately.
  • Do not touch the hot parts of the product directly.
  • Do not let the power cable touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, naked flames or heat.
  • Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
  • Only handle the product with dry hands. Handling with wet hands might cause an electric shock.
  • Never immerse the product in water or place it in a dishwasher.
  • Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling

Installing the product

  1. Remove all packaging.
  2. Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
  3. Fill the kettle to the max line and bring the water to a boil.
  4. Discard the water.
  5. Repeat 3 times to remove any dust or residue from the manufacturing process.

Using the product

  1. Place the product on a stable and flat surface.

  2. Lift A1.

  3. Fill A3 with water.

  4. Never fill the kettle over the “max”. Otherwise hot water can spatter out of the base.

  5. The jug kettle is fitted with an overheating safeguard. This will switch off the jug kettle if it is operated without sufficient water.

  6. After overheating, allow the product to cool down for at least 10 minutes before using it again.

  7. Do not spill any water on the base.

  8. Close A1.

  9. Place A3 on A5.

  10. Connect A8 to a power outlet.

  11. Press A9 to switch on the product. A9 lights up.
    The kettle heats up until the water boils.

  12. Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling. A9 switches off.

  13. Ensure that the product is switched off before removing it from its base.

  14. Be careful when opening the lid, hot steam may escape.
