WARNING

  1. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

  2. Indoor use only.

  3. To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the unit, cord or plug in water or other liquid.

  4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
    Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

  5. When the appliance is not in use and before cleaning, unplug the appliance from the outlet.

  6. When the fan was assembled, the rotor blade guard shall not be taken off anymore.

  7. Correct Disposal of this product
    This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.

  8. When fan is mounted, blades must be at least 2.3m from floor.

RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION

  1. Never insert fingers, pencils, or any other object through the grille when fan is running.
  2. Disconnect fan when moving from one location to another.
  3. Be sure fan is on a stable surface when operating to avoid overturning.
  4. DO NOT use fan in window, rain may create electrical hazard.
  5. Household use only.

Note: Due to slight difference between the various models of products, please be subject to real objectives for installation, and the diagram is for reference only.

Installation Method

Please use the following order in the correct installation.
Please keep the packaged items in order to facilitate the use during the fan storage.

  1. Remove the chassis (as shown in Figure 1)Midea-FD40-G1-16-Inch-Orbit-Fan-fig2

    • Use a screwdriver to remove the screws from the fixed plate and the chassis counterclockwise, rotate the chassis and remove the chassis.
  2. Installation of rear grill (as shown in Figure 2)Midea-FD40-G1-16-Inch-Orbit-Fan-fig3

    • Unscrew the spinner and plastic nut from the front of the motor.
    • Insert the rear grill and align the positioning holes of the rear grill with the locating pins of the front housing of the motor.
    • Reinstall the plastics nut to be locked and fixed with the rear grill.
  3. Install the blades (as shown in Figure 3)Midea-FD40-G1-16-Inch-Orbit-Fan-fig4

    • Insert the blades into the motor shaft and press it down, and then make the groove on the back of the blades lock on the limit pin of the motor shaft.
    • Screw the spinner in the motor shaft in the counterclockwise direction for tightened locking.
      Notes: The spinner cannot be screwed tightly; in general, proper tightening is just enough, or otherwise, it is easy to damage the spinner.
  4. Installation of front grill (as shown in Figure 4)Midea-FD40-G1-16-Inch-Orbit-Fan-fig5

    • Align the screw holes for installation of the front and rear grill.
    • Put the front grill and rear grill together, and then fasten the movable splint on the rear grill to make the front grill close to the rear grill.
    • Insert the fixed screw through the mounting screw holes of the front grill and rear grill and then tighten the nut up.

    • Use cement nails (or screws) to fix them to the interior ceilings through the four holes in the chassis.
    • Align the stand at the bottom of the chassis with the holes of the chassis, and rotate it in the clockwise direction and really enter.
    • Align the screw hole of the plate with the screw holes on the chassis and fix it with the screw.
      Notes:
    1. Please connect the ground wire when installing the fan.
    2. The installation distance of the fan from the ground height is not less
  6. The installation of the governor (as shown in Figure 6)Midea-FD40-G1-16-Inch-Orbit-Fan-fig7

    • Use a screwdriver to remove the screws at the top of the governor and remove the front shell of the governor.
    • Use cement nails (or screws) to fix it to the appropriate position on the wall through three holes on the rear housing of the governor.
    • Align the front housing of the governor with the rear housing of the governor and fix the front and rear housing of the governor with the screws.
  7. Power connection (as shown in Figure 7)Midea-FD40-G1-16-Inch-Orbit-Fan-fig8

    • Follow the above steps to install the fan and switch box, and then connect the power supply.
      Notes: The users must install power supply full pole disconnect device with clearance between open contacts of less than 3mm in fixed wiring.

Operation instruction

Air supply through the fan oscillating (as shown in Figure 8)Midea-
FD40-G1-16-Inch-Orbit-Fan-fig9The fan can be rotated in 360 degrees, and the air supply range can be adjusted, as long as the oscillating arm is pressed slightly by manual to adjust it to the desired position, and the press down to stuck the oscillating pin. The air supply range is controlled by two gears.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTION

The fan requires little maintenance. Do not try to fix it by yourself. Refer it to qualified service personnel if service is needed.

  1. Before cleaning and assembling, fan must be unplugged.
  2. To ensure adequate air circulation to the motor, keep vents at the rear of the motor free of dust. Do not disassemble the fan to remove dust.
  3. Please wipe the exterior parts with a soft cloth soaking a mild detergent.
  4. Do not use any abrasive detergent or solvents to avoid scratching the surface. Do not use any of the following as a cleaner: gasoline, thinner.
  5. Do not allow water or any other liquid into the motor housing or interior parts.

CLEANING

  1. Be sure to unplug from the electrical supply source before cleaning.
  2. Plastic parts should be cleaned with a soft cloth moisten with mild soap. Thoroughly remove soap film with dry cloth.
