Toaster
The MT-RP2L09W toaster has a bread slot, cancel function, defrost function, reheat function, loading handle, browning control, and crumb tray. It operates at 220 240V~/(50/60)Hz/800-950W.

Operation
- Plug the toaster into a proper outlet (220-240V 50/60Hz).
- Use the browning control to select the desired level of toasting (1-7).
- Place the bread in the bread slot.
- Press the loading handle down to begin toasting.
- The toaster will automatically pop up when the toasting is complete.
- Unplug the toaster when not in use.

Caution

- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to”otr’, then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
- Oversize foods, metal foil packages, or utensils must not be inserted in a toaster as they may involve a risk of fire or electric shock.
- A fire may occur if toasters are covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation.
- Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is plugged in.
- A short power-supply cord should be used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance; and the cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.

NOTICE: This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8
and supervised.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Please read the operating instructions carefully before using the appliance.
- Please keep these instructions, the guarantee slip. The receipt and if possible the box with inner packaging in a safe place!
- This appliance is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use.
- Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use or when you are attaching accessories, cleaning it or in the event of a malfunction. Switch off the appliance.
- Do no pull the cable, pull the plug.
- Keep children away from the appliance to keep them safe from electric shocks. Make sure that the appliance is out of the reach of children. Ensure that the cable does not hang down.
- Check the cable and the appliance regularly for damage. Do not switch on the appliance if it is damaged.
- Do not repair the appliance yourself, but consult an authorized professional instead.
- Keep the appliance and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture, sharp edges and such like.
- Never leave the appliance unsupervised if it is use! Always switch off the appliance if you are not using it, even if only for a brief period.
- Only use original parts.
- Never use the appliance outside.
- Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not allow the appliance to come into contact with water or other liquids. Do not use the appliance with wet or moist hands.
- Remove the plug from the socket immediately if it is moist or wet. Do not touch the water!
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard;

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
- Only connect the appliance to a correctly installed safety plug (220-240V 50/60Hz).
- Turn the selector switch clockwise to set the toasting level from the lightest stage 1 to the darkest stage 6. If in any doubt, start with the lower setting (the black mark on the selector switch shows you the setting).
- Insert sliced bread into the toasting slot and push down the lever until it locks.
- The appliance starts toasting. The appliance switches off immediately once the set degree of toasting has been reached. The toast then pops up automatically.
- The appliance has heat-insulated casing. However, as metal parts still heat up during operation, please allow cooling down before you put it away.
- The toaster only allowed 2 slices of the toaster to be toasted at a time.
- The grill is only allowed to adjust to the minimum toast.
Cleaning
- Before cleaning, remove the plug from the socket and allow the appliance to cool down.
- Use a moderately damp cloth to clean the outside of the appliance.
- Do not use any aggressive or scrubbing detergents.
- Grasp the crumb shaft by the loop and pull it out, remove the bread residue and push the shaft back in.
This appliance conforms to the relevant GS guidelines and has been constructed on the basis of the latest technical safety regulations. Subject to technical changes!
Guarantee
We accept a guarantee period of 12months for the appliance we have sold from the date of purchase (receipt). During this period we will repair any defects in the appliance without charge, provided that these defects are due to material or manufacturing faults. Subject to our own decision, we will repair or replace the appliance. Guarantee services neither extend the guarantee period nor do they mark the start of a new guarantee period! The receipt of purchase is the proof of guarantee. Free exchange or repair is not possible without this receipt. In the event of a guarantee claim, please return the complete appliance in the original packaging together the receipt to your dealer.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
- Defects in -accessories will not lead to a replacement of the entire appliance. Free replacement will be sent instead. Do not send back the appliance in these cases, but only reorder the defect accessory! Broken glass damage will always be subject to charges!
- Defects in wear parts (e.g. motor carbon, mixing hooks, driving belts, spare remote controls, spare toothbrushes, saw blades and such like) and cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of wear parts are not part of the guarantee services and are therefore subject to charge.
- The guarantee will be cancelled in the event of unauthorized tampering.

DISPOSAL
Do not dispose this product as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such
waste separately for special treatment is necessary. This product must not be
disposed together with the domestic waste. This product has to be disposed at
an authorized place for recycling of electrical and electronic appliances. By
collecting and recycling waste, you help save natural resources, and make sure
the product is disposed in an environmental friendly and healthy way.
