INTRODUCTION

The smart light bulbs are compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa Echo Dot. To turn on or off, adjust the color, and brighten or dim your smart lights, simply use your voice. A hub is not necessary.
Create one or more schedules that correspond to your daily routines. Make a countdown to turn on the predetermined color light bulb at the designated moment. HOW TO CONNECT SMART BULB TO WIFI
- Ensure that the connected network is only 2.4GHz and that the lightbulb is turned on.
- To enter EZ Mode, turn smart bulbs on and off three times (please wait one to two seconds between each switch); you’ll notice that the smart bulb flashes swiftly. Select AP mode if the smart light bulb flashes slowly. Please see our AP mode connection video for more information.
- To add a device, pick Lighting (Wi-Fi), then click “+.”
- Choose a Wi-Fi network and input the network’s password.
HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT
- Make sure the network names (SSIDs) for your dual-band router’s 2.4G and 5G networks are distinct. (2.4G Only)
- Make sure the smart phone and the smart bulb are connected to the same Wi-Fi network and that the Wi-Fi connection distance is 50 feet for the initial connection. While connecting, keep your phone close to the light.
- If the steps don’t work, unscrew the bulbs and use the APP connection instructions to reconnect.
HOW TO RESET
Switch the light on for two seconds, then off for two. Three more times, repeat. The bulb will blink following the fourth cycle, signifying that the reset was successful.
FAQs
How to make it white (Day Light)?
The smart light bulbs include 16 million of color and warm white. But it doesn’t have daylight white. Any other problem, please contact us.
Can I control each of the light bulbs individually with the app (say, if I wanted to do a red, white and blue color scheme)?
Yes, you can control each of the smart light bulbs individually.
How can I get white light? I can’t get it right!
If you using the gosund app the 1st option is white or if you have it linked to Alexa you can tell them to turn light white.
Which app does this run on for android?
You can download the “Gosund” App or Smart life App from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices); Or scan the QR code on the package or user manual with your phone to download.
Will these work on a 5g network?
If you have a dual band WIFI, you will have to set up another network, like a guest network that is only 2.4 hgz. If you not it will keep trying to connect on the 5ghz and it will not allow it to work.
Do I need WIFI to control these from my phone?
If you want to control the smart bulb by your smartphone, it needs 2.4ghz WIFI. When it was used as a regular light bulb, you do not need WIFI.
Instructions say to be sure WIFI signal is strong; but doesn’t tell how to check for a strong WIFI signal nor what is a strong signal?
Generally, we suggest customer can close to the router, when connect the 2.4ghz WIFI.
Are these used in ceiling light fixtures with four bulb spots? Can you put four lights in one ceiling fixture, or are they only for lamps?
These smart bulbs can be used for E26 light base. Great for indoor light fixtures, like ceiling fan, lamps. But pls ensure the light base is E26.
Is there a setting to choose from that has the light turn off and on at dusk and dawn?
If you use the “smart life” app it has scenes that you can set times to turn on and off each light.
Can I use these outside?
You’d better used the smart bulb as indoor lighting for home. It has a wide application, such as Kitchens, Living Rooms, Dining Rooms, Bedroom, Hallways, etc. and works well with many light fixtures.
Can I put in a ceiling fan?
I haven’t tried it with these bulbs specifically, but I have had other brands of smart bulbs that I used in a ceiling fan. You have to be sure that the switch that controls that fan/light fixture is always on and then just use the chain to turn the fan on and off.
Are these compatible with the gosund app?
Yes, these smart light bulbs are compatible with gosund app. And the smart bulb not only support to App control, but also support voice control which works with Alexa and Google assistant.
will these work in can lights?
Please ensure the light base is E26, and this smart bulb size is A19.
Can I use in a E27 light base?
This smart light bulb base is E26.
I have a remote for another bulb, would it work for these?
Our smart bulbs support App Control (Gosund or Smartlife) or Voice Control, which paired with Alexa Echo Dot and Google Home Assistant.
