Step 1 : Preparation before Door Installation

  1. Remove your old lock and checkyourdoor.
  2. Check ~ your door has holes as below. It is corr’flatibla with standard US doors.

Check The Door’s Dimension

  • Make sure the thicknns cf the door is betwean 1-318′ and .2-1/fJ’ (35-55mm).
  • Make sure the diameter of Iha hole in the door is 2-118″ (55mm).
  • Make sure the backsel (as shown below) is e~her 2-318′ (61′.rnm] or 2·3/4′(70nTn).
  • Make sure the diameter of the hole in the door edge is 1″ (25mm).

Install Laich and Strike

  1. Set the l..aich backset to 60mm(2-3/8″) or 7<Jmm(2–3/.4″) 1o fit your door hole.
  2. Insert the l.tllch Into the door hole and Ughten1he Screw A.

lnatall Exterior Knob & Interior Knob

  1. Install Exterior Knob (the lock body with Spindle and t-No Stems) from outside of your door and make sure the Spindle and Stems go through the three holes of lhe Latch.Home-K02A-Smart-Door-Knob-with-Fingerprint-FIG-1 \(7\)
  2. Insert Interior Knob by aligning the two Stems with the screw holes, connect the wire by inserting the connector into trte socket, and tighten Screw 9 as ahown in below steps (1-2-3).Home-K02A-Smart-Door-Knob-with-Fingerprint-FIG-1 \(8\)

lnatall Batteries

  1. Loosen the Screw C ta remove the Battery Cover in lhe Interior Knob_
  2. Install 4AAAAlkaline batteries and tighten the Screw C to fix the Battery Co\/Elr.

PLEASE DO NOT USE LITHIUM BATTERIES OR RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES.

Indicator Lights

  • Blue indicator: Ready to pair- Bluetooth Connection.
  • Red Indicator: Failed login attemps to use fingerprint. Failed fingerprints need to be re-enrolled.
  • Green indicator: If the fingerprint lights flash green, then it indicates that you have a successful connection.
  • Green + Red indicator: The fingerprint head flashes green and then flashes red, it is time to install new batteries.

How to USE

How to Connect to Gosund APP

How to Pair with Gosund App

  1. Open the Gosund APP and create your Account.
  2. Click upper right corner “+” to select Camera&Lock > GHome-Lock(BLE)
  3. Please ensure the batteries have installed in the door lock while turning on the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi simultaneously. (Touch the fingerprint screen Of the lock to enable Bluetooth for easier connection)Home-K02A-Smart-Door-Knob-with-Fingerprint-FIG-1 \(12\)

How to Use the APP

  • Add fingerprint (operate on the lock side)
  • Member management —+ click” +” fill in name and other data •Role setting, choose
  • “Administrator”or “Common go back to Members interface •click the account you just created —Y click “add” -o follow the prompt to operate, Once the addition is done, the fingerprint can be unlocked

Remote Unlock

  • Settings Remote Unlock.
  • Note: The remote unlock can only be done by connecting the gateway, customers need to purchase the gateway by themselves.

Auto Lock

  • Settings— Auto Lock (icon is on), Set the Auto Lock Delay time, the lock will be automatically closed after the time elapses after unlocking;
  • Auto-lock (icon is Off), fingerprint or APP will not be automatically locked after starting (normally open), allowing free access. After the fingerprint and APP are unlocked again, the normally open mode will be automatically canceled (icon is on).

Operation Guide

  • Key Unlock Method press the screw in the back Of the exterior knob, the fingerprint head cover will come out for you to easily pull and turn.
  • Pull out the fingerprint head cover, turn the key 900, then turn the front knob to open the door.

passage Mode

  • Press the SET BUTTON on the back of Interior Knob and verify the fingerprint to start passage mode.
  • No need to use the fingerprint to unlock the door. At this time, both administrator and common members can unlock it by turning the knob directly. Auto lock on the App will be Off
  • Press the SET BUTTON again, or verify the fingerprint to disable the passage mode. Auto lock on the
  • App will be on. Or you can just turn Off “Auto Lock” on the App to enter passage mode directly.

Low Power Indication

  • Once fingerprint/App unlock is done, the buzzer will beep once and the fingerprint head flashes green and then flashes red. It is time to install new batteries, the app will also remind you Of low battery. Restore Factory Settings
  • Press the SET BUTTON for 8 seconds, the buzzer will beep once, the fingerprint head will flash green, and the lock will be reset to factory settings.

Kindly Reminder

  1. While the smart lock is going to pair with Bluetooth, please ensure the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are turned on.
  2. Type-C power interface: It supports a temporary emergency power supply for unlocking, but can not be charged
  3. Ensure your fingers are at multiple positions and angles during fingerprint enrollment.
  4. When the fingers are wet, the hands are sticky, or not clean, it will be hard or even impossible to unlock the door.
  5. It is better to keep at least one key in a secure location as an extra precaution.
  6. After turning the mechanical key about 90 degrees, you need to turn the knob to open the door.
    • Note: The remote unlock can only be done by connecting to the gateway. customers need to purchase the gateway separately.
  7. If the door cannot be opened: Please make sure the Spindle and Stems go through the three holes Of the latch.
  8. Please replace the entire lock instead of parts
  9. Install the battery: The positive and negative poles of the battery should not be reversed.
  10. K02A Smart lock is recommended for indoor use.

FAQ

  1. The APP cannot connect to the lock? Make sure that the Bluetooth is turned on, and the mobile network is on. It does not support Motorola phones.
  2. Does the lock need internet to continue working after setup? No, it does not require internet. It uses Bluetooth only, but you need to get the lock close to it.
  3. What if the battery dies? The lock has a Type C port, you can use power bank for emergency use to open the door. Or unlock it with the mechanical key, which comes with the lock.
  4. Can I mute the lock volume? The volume of fingerprint reminder buzzer can be turned off in the APP. (The electric motor cannot be muted).
  5. After installation, using the interior knob can’t open the door. Please check if the three stems on the Exterior Knob pass through the three holes of the Latch.
  6. What is the difference between administrator and user? The first user who adds the knob to Gosund App is the administrator. The administrator can unlock the door even at the privacy mode; other users cannot unlock it at the privacy mode.
