  • Do not make or alter any holes in the wiring enclosure or modify any electrical componentry

CAUTIONS

  • The fixture must be wired in accordance with the National Electric Code (N.E.C) standards and any applicable local codes or ordinances.
  • Supply conductors must at least be rated for 90°C/194°F.
  • This fixture is designed for use with 120Vac, 50/60Hz only.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Ensure the power has been turned off by switching the circuit breaker to the off position or by removing the fuse from the fuse panel.

  2. After marking the center point of where the fixture will be located, using the provided template cut the required hole shown in figure 1.

  3. Open the junction box, remove the desired knockout and attach a twin screw clamp connector (or similar).

  4. Insert the supply wire through the twin screw clamp connector (or similar) shown in figure 2a.

  5. Connect the hot (black) wire to the black wire, the neutral (white) wire to the white wire and the ground (green/bare copper) wire to the green wire using the provided wire nuts shown in figure 5a.

  6. Optional – Using the selector switch inside the metal junction box the CCT can be changed to any of the five settings (CCT settings are 2700K/3000K/3500K/4000K/5000K).
    Note – the fixture comes set at 3000K from the factory.

  7. Put all of the wires into the metal junction box and close the junction box.

  8. Optional – using a screw (not provided), the junction box can be mounted using the holes in the back of the junction box.

  9. Connect the male output connector from the junction box with the female connector from the fixture and tighten the locking nut shown in figure 3.

  10. To insert the fixture into the hole, hold the two spring clips in the vertical postion until the springs are past the top of the ceiling material shown in figure 4.

  11. Push the fixture up until flush with the ceiling shown in figure 5.

  12. Installation is now complete, restore power and the fixture is now operational.

Maxxima will replace any warrantied product to the original consumer/purchaser if the product fails because of defects due to workmanship and/or materials within the limited warranty period.
