CLEANING TIPS
- Pick up and discard any solid debris in the area before using your RUG DOCTOR PORTABLE SPOT CLEANER.
- Always test colour fastness before using on carpets and upholstery:
- Wet an inconspicuous area with a small amount of cleaner
- After 1-2 minutes, blot with a white paper towel and check for colour transfer
- When cleaning, make sure the suction nozzle is in direct contact with the surface you are cleaning. You will be able to see the dirty solution being sucked into the nozzle. If you don’t see it, tilt the nozzle forward to ensure good vacuum suction and pass over the area again.
- When using RUG DOCTOR PORTABLE SPOT CLEANER on stairs, keep the machine on the step or two below where you are cleaning for easy manoeuvrability. Use the convenient “Easy Carry” handle to move from step to step.
- Use only RUG DOCTOR PORTABLE MACHINE SPOT CLEANER whenever you use your RUG DOCTOR PORTABLE SPOT CLEANER as it has been specially formulated to give best cleaning results. Using Non-RUG DOCTOR cleaning solutions may harm the machine and will void the warranty.
