UPON RECEIPT, INSPECT THE PRODUCT TO ENSURE THE ORIGINAL PACKING MATERIAL IS INTACT AND THAT THE PRODUCT RELEASES EASILY FROM THE PROTECTIVE SHEET
TO USE THE SPILL BERM
- Ensure there is no debris in the area where the spill berm will be used. Large debris can prevent a perfect seal from forming.
- Use proper PPE for the spill being handled.
- Place the Spill Berm with the widest base down to stick to the ground. Surround the spill on all sides to contain it.
Leaving the spill berm deployed will result in bonding to the surface it is on. Removing the blocker from a surface that it has bonded to will likely damage either the blocker, surface, or both.
TO DECONTAMINATE THE SPILL BERM
- Wash the Spill Berm using warm water and a non-abrasive detergent or petroleum solvent cleaner. Always thoroughly clean dirt and other debris and reside from the product before storing it.
- As a final step before storing, wipe with soft cloth or wiper. Allow the Berm to dry before storing.
