SAFETY INFORMATION

  • Read all installation instructions before beginning; if not qualified, do not attempt installation. Contact a qualified electrician.

  • To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, pay close attention to this manual and stay within its guidelines when using this product. Save these instructions for future use.

  • This product is suitable for indoor use in dry locations only.

  • Do not submerge in liquids nor use the product in the vicinity of standing water or other liquids, or where water can accumulate.

  • Do not use if there is any damage to the product; inspect periodically.

  • Do not install in tanks or enclosures of any kinds.

  • This product utilizes Bluetooth® 2.4Ghz wireless technology.

  • This unit is not intended to be used in conjuction with a any dimmer.

  • WARNING – KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN!
    Batteries are not a toy!

  • The remote control included utilizes a CR123 battery; If swallowed, it could cause severe injury or death in just 2 hours due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the esophagus. If you suspect your child has swallowed or inserted any battery, immediately seek urgent medical assistance.

  • Do not dispose of batteries in fire as they may explode or leak. Please dispose of used batteries immediately and safely. Only replace with the same battery type.

  • Examine devices and make sure the battery compartment is correctly secured, e.g. that the screw or other mechanical fastener is tightened. Do not use if compartment is not secure.

  • Power may also be supplies by USB 5VDC connection.

INSTALLATION:

  1. Determine desired location of sensor. Recommended installation height is 5.9-6.89 feet (1.8-2.1 meters). The detection range is 23 feet (7 meters) with a viewing range of 120 degrees. Sensor should have a clear, unobstructed view of area to be monitored.
  2. Ensure mounting surfaces are clean, dry, smooth, and free of any debris.
  3. Mount sensor to approrpriate surface using adhesive tape (included).
  4. Sync sensor with the Spektrum+ Smart App. Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds until the indicator light begins flashing. The device is now ready to be synced.

USING THE CONTACT SENSOR: The Spektrum+ contact sensor utilizes Bluetooth Wireless Technology and can be accessed via the Spektrum+ Smart Lighting App. It is not intended to be used in conjunction with any dimmer.
DISTANCE OF CONTROL CAPABILITY: 25 meters (approx. 80ft)
RESET THE DEVICE: Press and hold the power button on the device for 5 seconds until the indicator light begins flashing.
USING THE SPEKTRUM+ SMART LIGHTING APP: Please follow the Spektrum+ Smart Lighting App guide. The Spektrum+ PIR motion & luminance sensor can be used in conjuction with other Spektrum+ smart lighting products to trigger automation features within the app.
